Sk**** Posted 14 hours ago its somewhat niche, but yes. 'Bear' is an endearing term for chubby/hairy guys. 'Cubs' would be the younger smaller guys into them. I think they are/were more popular in the Gay community, but things change so fast these days who knows anymore. Its not exclusive to gays, some women are into the jolly vibes (think: comedian Gabriel 'Fluffy' Iglesias, he is incredibly charming and a big teddy bear). Youtuber Boogie2988 (he did the world of warcraft nerd outrage videos) was very chubby and had an amazing wife. She definitely wasnt in it for the ***, because when they divorced, she insisted on receiving none. people say she left because he was toxic, and thats -probably- true, but if not mistaken, she left after he had weight loss surgery...so...who knows. As for gaining, there is a controversial kink around feeding/feederism. Usually the feeder is male and feedee is female, but as with most kinks, sex/gender can usually be role reversed. It tends to involve the feeder buying food for a thin feedee and possibly also physically feeding them into calorie surplus for long periods. They take a lot of progress pics along the way, and often showing them off to the public. I think its popular because everyone has a different preference for what "thicc" is, and what looks best is unique to each body...so along the way of progress there is suspense built as they get closer then finally achieve it. Dangers are related to weight gain general...heart failure, diabetes, joint/back ***, body dysmorphia, confidence, self-esteem, etc. Some extreme practitioners go as far as passing bbw and going to ssbbw territory. Others may set a safe weight limit, and stick to it. Once they get there, they might return to normal weight and do it again, or not...though this practice isnt particularly healthy either. i havnt seen it where the guy is the feedee, but im also not looking. It probably exists, but finding someone into it that is also compatible may be a pretty rare unicorn of some sort.
