I'm not quite sure I get the idea of these. Obviously the Site cashes in because it costs points to send them but as far as I can tell, a person sets their message inbox filter parameters and by paying a fee somebody can crash through their barriers because they're an entitled elitist? Would like to hear a little more about this angle just in case I'm missing the point.

It’s their business model to enhance revenue. It’s their platform. Users have the choice by paying a monthly subscription to join and of either earning points by using the site or by buying points. It’s easy to rack-up 50 points a day, so I’ve never had to buy extra points.
I don’t see the problem?

Candy Trojan Horses, are these Gifts

Are you talking about the actual candy? These originally came out I believe in the 60's maybe earlier? I'm not really quite sure how accessible they are now. BUT YOU CAN make them yourself for someone from chocolate molds. Just like you make hollow bunnies for Easter or hollow Santa Claus molds for Christmas...yes, horse molds do exist. The only ones I've seen don't give you the actual depth of them though. That means you may have to do a thinner ***ted version as a rein***d outer layer, possibly two and then just readjust your seams. It really depends on what you plan on putting in there and how much it weighs. OR you could just make a couple of them. I used to make molds for the holidays, bdays, occasional chocolate houses & X rated chocolates. Nothing says Merry Christmas like a very realistic penis or vagina I say! 😉

I t have a sneaking suspicion the reference made to “candy” was not edible. The gifts are used as a “sweetener” with the aim of encouraging a reply from another subscriber who has filter set that prevent a message or spank being sent

Aha! THIS is one of the many reasons why I need to go to sleep because it's 7:40 AM here... And way too bleary-eyed to be up STILL! Well my lovely people I will be off in a bit because well you know I have to be "awake & human" again soon! Well, at least we learned something about chocolate and that ALWAYS makes it a happy day in my world.

What the members say are mostly true. Like alot of us do, you can earn points too (free). I use it for other reasons (Birthdays, Thank you, a person being sweet or etc). Used for good reasons, and them "actually" appreciating the kind gesture is a different story. It is a virtual gift, but still a gift!!

Pretty much, it is to try to cut down on thirsty cheap dudes trying to get a quick lay. If they want to hit on someone they actually have to pay. Where as fetlife you don’t have to pay for all the messages and stuff and therefore women get hit on relentlessly to a point that they don’t want to talk to anyone or socialize with anyone. I’m sure many of the women on this site have already started experiencing this. And it’s only a matter of time before women start selling their onlyfans accounts and pornhub accounts on this site. Which was ultimately the destruction of fetlife. So it’s literally become a homosexual site now versus a well versed community for learning and exploring. So thank you all you worthless horny dudes out there that have destroyed fetlife for the rest of us. And I pray to whatever God that exist that this site does not follow suit and actually does something about the harassment and pedophiles and human trafficking, because fetlife just covered it all up and it’s about to blow up in their face.

So to wrap up my message, this site appears to be trying to control the types of people that are harassing women and create a safe space for them to date, learn, and grow within this lifestyle safely.

OF and other clip selling has always been banned on here for a few different reasons.  While I know there are folk slip the net, it's not permitted and so users are sent packing

The ones that do slip threw the net are reported by genuine people on here and the fet team soon remove them

Well that’s good to hear. I don’t understand why websites are not charging them to market or promote their accounts on their platforms. Past that it’s flat out solicitation.

So, I kinda do know this one and that is partially because there are assorted edge cases

On this site the rules are fairly simple - you cannot link to or advertise *anything* - so no OnlyFans or Clip Sites - but also... no events, munches, workshops, toys for sale, photographers, books, dungeons, etc. even then there are assorted edge cases - like if someone started a thread for (say) book recommendations and I'd written a book, what if I recommend my book or if someone else does - but certainly the explicit advertising is not permitted

(incidentally, there are directories on here for events/dungeons/etc it's just not always as utilised)

But on this site it is simple enough that while it has become more-than-dating the site was primarily set up for dating.  There are other dating sites elict similar rules.   In some cases this can border on discrimination, there are folk I know who have been banned from sites like Tindr for simply having an OF even if they didn't mention it, and were actually looking for a date not customers, so there is always an important factor of keeping a benefit of the doubt.

Now, there are other sites, like Fetlife, which are more community focused and simply enough Pro Dommes, Event Organisers, Toy Sellers/Makers, Educators, Photographers, Authors, Models, Dungeon owners etc are all part of the wider fetish community.  But all also have commercial interests (even a not-for-profit munch is still arguably commercial) and in some cases... it's how to apply fairly.  You can't start charging one group without also charging the others, and like, one of our local munches has just changed organiser - but imagine someone having to decline taking over a munch because they didn't want their account flagged and have to pay a monthly fee?

But also a little.  On Fetlife I have a couple of accounts and one is for my production company and I can tell you I get very few customers from fetlife - but many of my photos and other content gets 100s of likes.  If you suddenly put a charge in place then I would sit and look if it was even worth me continuing and, boom, suddenly my popular content is pulled.  Then others start to do the same.  And some might think "great, we got rid of the OF sellers!" but actually it also gets rid of a lot of other key folk in the community and people moan about pros but you go through their 'like' history and it's often stuff by pros, OF sellers, or was shot by a pro photographer, or so on - so it's clearly content they want to see, they just don't want to pay for it.   And a lot of the sites do kinda know that so are also cautious about pushing people off site that will hurt their traffic.

Thanks for your feedback. I understand where you are coming from. The reason I’ve backed off from fetlife had nothing to do with groups promoting their groups on fetlife. There are tons of great avenues there to get involved with kink groups. The true reason wa sbecause everyone I wanted to speak with wanted me to pay for their only fans before they would consider speaking to me. And it genuinely didn’t stop there. There is a lot of human trafficking going on within that platform, where men would contact you asking if you want to buy a slave, or women selling themselves as prostitutes, women doing whatever they can to manipulate men into sending them free *** by feeding on their self esteem issues. Only fans is only the tip of the iceberg.
