went to my second event on saturday and was treated to a flogging and some electro play. also a nice massage with a vampire glove. is it meant to hurt because i find it all very pleasurable and relaxing.

like a lot of things - whether it's meant to hurt is down to a lot of things - such as what they're being used for, your own nervous system, the intensity used.

all of what you've listed can be either pleasurable or used to bring ***.  If the person using them recognised you as being new, they'll have probably wanted to keep things safe with usage.
