All you need to know about deep throating

There are so many different names for a blow job, some of which are used for specific actions. Deep throating is when a person takes the whole length of an erect cock into their mouth as they give a blow job. It can also be called face fucking.

This is quite a popular theme in BDSM porn because it shows the control of the Dom, through command or hands holding the sub in place as well as the submission of the bottom, doing all they can to give their partner pleasure. It can get messy too and add in elements of degradation and humiliation. Fun!

What is deep throating?

When a person is giving a blow job and they take the other person’s erection as far into their mouth as possible, this is called deep throating. As the erection enters the person’s throat.

What are some good tips for deep throating?

Practice! Most people have a gag reflex when something hits the back of their throat (or tongue, or roof of mouth) and so to deep throat you need to get past this reaction. Use something sterile like a dildo or a toothbrush to practise on. Move it into your mouth to the point that makes you gag then hold it there for as long as you can, relaxing your throat and breathing through your nose. Keep doing this regularly until you get that gag reflex more under control so you can move on to an actual person! Pick positions where you’re more in control when first deep throating so you can dictate how deep the cock goes into your mouth. Work up to face fucking!

What does face fucking mean?

Face fucking is when the person who is getting the blow job controls exactly what’s going on. Usually by grabbing the back of the head/hair of the givee and moving it up and down their cock.

Is deep throating and face fucking the same thing?

Not necessarily. Deep throating can be controlled by the person giving head or by the person receiving it. Face fucking is always controlled by the person receiving the blow job so they decide how deep they drive their dick into your mouth.

For kinksters into anal play

Anal sex is hugely popular, but it's not the only way of getting your butt in on the action. Anal massage and analingus can both feel fantastic for giver and receiver alike, and they're a great way of warming someone up to be fucked in the ass without difficulty or discomfort. There are plenty of toys around designed to make anal play more enjoyable for all involved, and it's well worth looking into some plugs and vibrators to see what they can do for you. Be careful about what you pick, though - toys not designed for use in that area can get lost more easily than you might imagine, so be sure and get the right ones for you and your partner!
