Hey everyone. I'm new to all of this and i dont know where to start and im a little nervous of getting into this sort of stuff. Any suggestions?

do you have any form of rough idea what you want to "get into" or what "this sort of stuff" is?

Because it's that simple - if you don't know what you're getting into - it's not for you.  So work out what exactly it is you want

There's a lot of subcategories within kink so my suggestion would be to have a little research online and find your niche

What they said, but also; just start chatting with people. A lot of the self discovery journey can be pushed along by observing what others are into until something strikes your fancy. Also, it doesn't hurt to have friends who understand that you can turn to for help. =^-^=

I'm sometimes generally interested where some of the folk come from that they're interested 'in kink' but don't really know what kink is or what interests them.    I'm kinda interested to know how they know; but it does also suggest an initially barrier within themselves to get through.
