Massive influx of fake accounts

I would say 95% of Australian woman are scammers. They either don't get verified, don't give you a photo, don't have a bdsm profile listed. Don't have any definable things on their site. The get kicked off the site the same day. Or they have the same location as a 1000 other members. This all leaves no.one that is legitimately a Mistress. Oh and my profile also gets flooded with vanilla woman who want to rush to another site to ask for ***. This site is almost not worth being on

Some people are super private and don't list their actual location.

I've done that a lot but when I report them nothing is done.

me too. It’s frustrating and that is why I canceled my subscription. It’s not like I ever found someone within hundreds of miles of me anyway. So now the company needs to decide. Do they continue to develop more features like adding “Groups” or do they spend the resources on cleaning this place up. I would rather have less people but higher quality but frankly this is a joke of a fetish site anyway. it’s more and more a waste of time.

Just tried to start a petition about UN verified accounts on this site. I have been duely punished for it. Admin obviously doesn't want to know what their clientele wants.

You can use your own filters to

a) only search for verified accounts

b) only permit verified accounts to message you

the features already exist.

Something I find interesting, mind... when we get into hallmarks of "what is a fake" there might be stuff like "messages me despite not being from my location", "Doesn't have profile pic (or clear profile pic)", "Profile not filled out or looks copy pasted", "Sends basic low effort messages" -- so, like, all the stuff a lot of men do.

All these comments are true. But none of them help me. Just got a crush from Miami. How does that help me in australia. Just a crush, no message. What's the point

Precisely why there should be a limit on the number of first messages men can send per day. Limited to 3 you'd assume/hope that men will only message women that are good matches.

Would also nullify the need for the discriminatory age-based filters that the site are applying to new female accounts.

None for you and you are at liberty to completely ignore the person.  Don't worry about people who don't meet your needs.  Simple as that.

In 4 years I have not met a single legitimate possibility. I know as a sub I'm suppose to be meek and mild, however frustration has got the better of Mr especially when I finally find someone that might suit and they completely ignore you or worse message you and they don't even closely resemble what you're looking for and haven't even read your profile. This accounts for 99.5% of all contacts .
I'm fed up with stupid women who simply want a vanilla relationship. What are ee doing on a fet site when it's been over run by vanilla women who are looking for a long term romantic relationship. OMG when will this bullshit stop.

to a degree, it doesn't. Sure.  There are ladies I do flirt with in other countries (some of which I have actually met - some we just have online rapport) and sometimes some of that can just be appreciative

Though, ahem... I never bother looking at my crushes as I find them... well... I guess if someone really wanted to message they could

Can anyone confirm age based filters are Applied to new users?

yes, it got confirmed - and there's bits I understand and bits I also see the issue

Basically - a new account has a default filter that people over/under 10 years their age cannot message, unless they change the filter.   Whilst this removes an initial influx - @HatfieldMaster has pointed out there's people who have placed ads or mentioned in their profile they're looking for someone outside this default, but haven't been aware they need to change the filter to permit it.

So, for example - a 25 year old lady wishing for a 35+ Daddy Dom, cannot receive messages unless they change it, which they have to be aware of in the first place.

They are, but only to female profiles, to prevent people from messaging them.

Customer Support will absolutely DENY this of course, because they are scared of the fallout.

I guess my filters work ... I put in my fetish list, open to women, NB and MtF, all body types, all heights, age range from 22-80,  and open it up to 'worldwide' and it returns ... not a single person.

> sigh <

I get nothing but 19 year olds and that is way outside my filter. Also they are all American and my filter is for less than 400 klms. I doubt very much that filters eork at all. Also just started to have a chat with someone and they hot blocked fir not being verified. Why put them up if you can't chat with them. Verify them first and then put them up. Would probably stop most of the fake accounts too.

The sites usability its not helping either. It is very confusing and the search / filter functionality is not consistant across pages.

If you click the FETISH.com logo top left you are presented with 'News Feed", "Members", "Last Login" and "New Comers"

The 'News Feed" has different search criteria than the other three.

Along the top, there are menu choices of "Browse", "Chat" and "Community"

If you choose "Browse" there is then a sub-menu of "Crush", "Members", "BDSM Dating", "Photos" and "Videos and Livestream"

The "Crush" search is also different from the "News Feed" and "Members" search. It only allows choices for "Gender", "Age" and whether the person is single or not. It does not allow you to add a distance or any other criteria.

If you then choose the next sub-menu of "Members" you then have search criteria as the other 'Members" page.

So that makes 3 different search criteria screens.

There are also saved searches, which I don't know where the 'saved' ones are nor can you load the 'saved' searches nor does it remember what you had in previously.

Frankly the site is a mess with inconsistent and non-persistent searches.

To add to these inconsistencies the users then have to deal with sort choices that don't make any sense. Who cares if a user is VIP or Premium or Free? Registration date? really?

It is no wonder why there are complaints about how the searches and filters work.

This change alone has meant I'm now unable to message about 80% of the userbase making my membership totally worthless.

The admins focus on censoring legitimate users being able to talk to older members instead of sorting out the scammers and fake profile says everything about where their focus lies.

Agreed!

The people that run the site don't give a sh1t. As long as the $$$$ flow in they don't care.

So many. But thankfully it's easy to identify the fake ones because they all say the same things

It's very annoying and
The real question is
Why is there so many profiles that i have to send I gift to them first to even wave at them
The points are killing me

I’ve asked this in another thread. I was told that since I didn’t match their search criteria I had to send a gift instead. All you are doing is wasting points by doing what you’ve been doing.

The question you need to ask yourself, if you don't meet their criteria for message filters, is a gift going to make a difference.  There was a thread on here aimed at those receiving them, it rarely made them change their viewpoint.
