Honestly, either/or. It's all about the stories being told for me at the end of the day. Generally, I think I prefer DC. I do have a big soft spot for things like X-Men, though.

I'm right there with you bud

Also while we're at it: my favorite character in ALL of fiction was originally GOING to be a DC character, but they didn't want him (he got used as like background fodder in like 3 panels) and so he got bought by Marvel.

I am of course referring to Kurt "Nightcrawler" Wagner

I didn't know that, that's pretty cool info tbh thanks

Go watch marvel with the offspring and save DC for date night.

It's hit or miss on both. I prefer DC for their more loose canon as they can just focus on telling individual stories. Marvel canon is just to complex and messy. And their "return to zero" methodology means characters never get to stay changed, as they'll always get reset back to status quo in the end

My man lololol

I used to read Batman and Spiderman comics as a kid and collect both figures to this day as well as Captain America and others, so I see both as being a big part of my life. Marvel films were good but gone off the boil and DC has been a beautiful disaster.Tv Shows are the same, liked Arrow and Superman and Lois and the What IF series. So I've always liked both universes.
Dc definitely. They have better animation and in my opinion better stories and characters
Marvel. I hate Superman. He’s too clean, too in***. They have to go out of their way to come up with ways to weaken him. Marvel is more of the real life basis of no matter who you are there’s always someone bigger, faster, smarter.

I love Ironman, Spider-Man, I loved how they play with the multiverse (less so recently).

There is one exception, Nolan’s Batman was fantastic. I would have love to see what he could do with a Poison Ivy, Cat Woman, Harley Quinn spinoff.
I gotta chime in for DC. I love Marvel, Love them- Iron Man, Spiderman, Wolverine, and Deadpool Definitely make it awesome. But even Stan Lee, himself, said he Read DC comics before he created Marvel- so even He was a DC FAN.
Now take, for example Justice League. Yeah, they're struggling in the box office, but they don't have Disney bankrolling em like Marvel. Plus, Justice League is based off of the Greek & Roman gods of mythology. That's epic
