kinky Christians

Fascination so I'm Muslim and I have this same dilemma. In Islam we don't talk to anyone about it but god. So asking god directly for forgiveness and Islam says god is most merciful and always forgive.

One thing u can do is perform kinks in a way that is permissible under Christianity.

I would say just always ask for forgiveness and always turn to god. God love sinners.
I just seen a Facebook posts were there are plenty of married couples who engage in the lifestyle long your bot cheating on your partner enjoy your life to the fullest. God knows we have wants needs and desires and long as your serving him that's what he made sins for to be forgiving but I see none your committing especially if your married and being honest with your partner
Well, I graduated Bondage school aswell as Theological seminary... And my Name is Christmas. So I think I meet the 🐨fixations needed to administer advice ... And on this day the Lord sayith.. "let thine freakith flaggith wave"... You can be both things, they are not and never should have been mutually exclusive. You can believe in whatever makes you feel whole, and at home. Just don't be a C+@$ and it will all work itself out ❤️great question
My partner was a devout Christian.. she worships me now though. Shamelessly.
There should be no conflict, God knows who we are better than we do.
Don't y'all know kinks are heritable? And religion is only used to manipulate people.
Nothing to worry about it
Not Christian anymore but I grew up pentecostal, I don't think Jesus, the embodiment of love and compassion, would love you any different
Well at the risk of setting off a landmine here, yahweh doesn't like us having sex at all, so it is a conflict. You also have to remember that ALL of Yahweh's law was written by men trying to control a population. The religion has branched off and been rewritten so many times that the fragments of the old testament that remain from the original texts are thought to be typos. The Bible as it is written today is not the law that Yahweh originally set. So the problem itself IS religion. I grew up STRICT Baptist, but am not conflicted as Yahweh and I haven't been on speaking terms in a LONG time.😅
I don't feel conflicted, but I do render to find it difficult at times to juggle the difference

My dear Karan, I definitely emphasize and relate. I was raised Roman Catholic, which probably explains much.
I chose not to explore My interest in the Lifestyle until I was blessed with one year of sobriety. I had a somewhat firm foundation of faith and integrity, and a fierce adherence to the Code of Safe, Same, And Consentual.

There's always an excuse for fire and brimstone. In such an archaic and strict system, accept that you ARE condemned. The essence of Christianity, and it's stated MANY times in the Bible, is that we are wretched and wicked and should be grateful that Yahweh MAY save us from our wretched selves. It REALLY IS an oppressive religion when you look at it objectively.

Quite simple, religion is like acontract. You get baptized and for it you get the option of an afterlife. Like a citizen has his lawbook a believer has its katechism and the Bible. One is the manual of the church and the other the rules a believer has to follow. Ask yourself do you accept the book of laws ? Why? Would you break it? Do you accept to obey the second book? If you don't follow the rules. What does that mean for/about you?

Exactly! Would you rather have happiness, or an afterlife?😆 I'll stick to the freedom of spending this life learning how to be human. As far as what happens after it ends, I'll storm that bridge when I get there!😂

Good topic. I’ve been torn for years. My Mom is a pastor so I was raised in a Christian household my whole life. And yes I still do consider myself Christian. It took me a lot of years to come to terms with who I am. I actually stepped away from my submissive lifestyle and went the traditional vanilla marriage route because of my internal conflicts. But I was miserable because I wasn’t being who I truly am.
I’ve learned how to stay true to myself and lessen my guilt at the same time. Right now I am not in a good place but I am trying to get my life on a better path. But for now I try to give myself grace. I am a full submissive, there is no doubt of that. How I handle both parts of me is that I choose to be fully committed to my Master. I am only with Him. No one else. I don’t do hook-ups or playing with others. I don’t play online or trade pics with others. I don’t accept pictures of a sexual nature from anyone not my Master. I really don’t acknowledge any sexual questions from others. I’ll discuss bdsm but I’m not giving details. It may sound prudish or denying my sexuality but that is wrong, I unleash my kinky needs and cravings with Master. I have no limits with Him. (But we don’t invite others in). I do things with him that would be hard limits for others but it works for us. I’m not perfect, far from it. I don’t judge others for their kinks. I don’t put down others for not being religious. I wish others would treat those of us that do keep religion in our lives with as much tolerance. If you don’t like the way we Christians practice our kink beliefs then don’t talk to us. But also keep your bad mouthing our religion to yourself. It’s not needed or asked for. That is my opinion. Take it or leave it.

We actually have very good records in the Greek Septuagint which is the very same copy of the Bible that would have been studied by Jesus and the Apostles. Nearly all of the English translations of the Old Testament books of the Bible are based on the Hebrew Mesoretic texts and are unfortunately afflicted with the problems you mentioned. I'm sorry to hear that you feel that way about it and hope that you'll look into the Septuagint and the history of its transcription. Come home.

I appreciate the sentiment.😊 The religion was used to reinf*rce my childhood ab*se. When I broke away, I took the time to study other religions, their origins, how cultures shaped them, and their impacts on history. While I don't believe in magic or gods, I consider myself Druid now. I see the beauty and culture of my ancestors, and agree that this is not our world, we are a part of it. I see "God" in the world around us, that gives us life. I see "God" in the beautiful and delicate ecosystem that we are carelessly destroying. And the empirical truth that if we kill our mother, we die with her. I find peace in that truth. Is that not the point?😉

Whist I personally love the exploration in the replies, we are starting to drift away from the OP's topic.  Please bring it back to that.

Not having read all comments I am christian and kinky and don't feel a dilemma for myself.
You are sinning plain and simple, even just thinking it.

That IS what we're taught 😉

I actually find that my kinks have a strong religiosity. Worship, control, sin, confessions. All of it plays into my playtime.
This is an interesting question, and one that I did also have to consider myself having grown up in the Calvary Chapel system of churches (plus then also being LGBTQ+ on top of kinks). I still am a Christian but had to do a lot of deconstructing on the differences of what the Bible said and what were meant to take from it and what “Americanized Christianity” has drilled in that basically everything Christ taught was actually the opposite for people we don’t like. I’ve not had much issue in more recent years once I took to the mentality that what we’re actually taught is to love one another and not cast judgement. Plus one of Christ’s closest friends was a sex worker so… there’s also that haha

Indeed. We all sin. But the atonement for all sins is in Jesus' hands, which are reached out to all in offering. All you have to do is accept it from Him. The only unforgivable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which is synonymous with the rejection of His offering to pay the debt from all your other sins.

We can and should try to be better people but we all fall short of His glory, regardless of how perfect we try to be. He knows that and forgives us regardless.

Kink doesn't really even seem to matter even if we didn't have His salvation. Not much is said about sex in the Bible. Far be it from me to claim to know what God thinks, but in the book of Proverbs there is a list of seven things that God hates. Slander is five of them and kink is nowhere to be found. I don't think it's that important, what matters is whether you accept Christ in your heart.
