In my personal experience try attending kink events or even casual kink events like sloshes or munches! You’ll just have to check in your area but I’m sure they exists!

Ive never met anyone on a kink dating app. Though I keep trying. My only success has been in the wild or online sites that are not dating sites.

+1 because I think the app focuses on a place for expression with a side plus of potentially meeting new people whereas you’d prefer the meeting to be a main point. I’m in a similar boat and applied to KV and looking at TG events too but the play parties can’t be the only way.

Honestly, it’s a combination of things.. you have to be open enough to be able to show your picture. Nobody likes a surprise when they meet you face-to-face and they have no idea what you look like for real. The second is you have to prove yourself by being able to communicate and establish your knowledge base. I’m into all kinds of fetishes, but what attracted my partner to me was my knowledge of the things that interests her. You have to be willing to give it a chance and that comes with time you’re not gonna meet someone to hang out with overnight… it can take months

Uploading photos makes people more comfortable to reach out for anything. It’s easier to hit up a person you’ve seen a photo of than someone that you have no idea about.

There are many reasons to not have a pic on the profile. I for one don’t want people from work/clients to recognize me. Assuming no picture = fake person is wrong

Having a profile picture would be my biggest piece of advice. I never engage in conversation with anyone who doesn’t have a profile picture.
