My last BDSM relationship there was both a sexual and non-sexual component because it was often long distance. For the non-sexual context my partner would have to hold poses for a certain amount of time and if it was long distance Make a daily video of their commitment and submission. There were other tasks as well In which it was for time and they would have to send me a screenshot of their phone stopwatch showing that they had done their task.
