cage pop

We get through the door.
We had a lovely day together.
"Who's been a good girl?"
"I have!".
"Doggie want to play a game?"
"Woof!"

She starts to pull off her clothes.
Socks, top, jeans, bra.
***tered everywhere.
A big mess,
she'll pay for that later.

I stand in front of her
and wrap her hands in swaddling cloth,
turning them into paws.
I go behind her
and slip a hair band onto my wrist.
I take her hair in my hands,
pulling, uncomfortably tight.

"Wouldn't want you to end up
in a sticky mess.
Not yet anyway"

I slip the band off my wrist
and twist it a couple of times,
catching her hair in a neat pony tail.

"On the floor, doggy."

"Woof!"

She gets down on her paws and knees.
I reach down and fasten a collar with a leash
around her neck.

"Into your cage"

She gives me a look.

"Who knows best?"

She smiles.
"Woof!"
She goes through the door of the cage.

"Into the corner, no ***king".

She makes her way to the corner
and puts her face to the floor.
I reach in and feed the leash
through the bars,
tying it off with plenty of slack.
She can move freely within the cage
but can't come out.

I take a lollipop
and a C-clamp
and clamp the lollipop
half-way up one of the bars.

"Who wants a treat?"

"Woof!"

"We're going to play a game.
You can look now.
There's a lollipop for you."

She turns around.
Her face lights up.
Impatient, paws inching forward,
waiting for my words.

"Stay...
Here are the rules.
You can leave the cage
when you've sucked the lollipop
down to the stick.
No biting.
If you bite it,
we'll just start again
with a new lollipop."

"Woof!"

"The only other rule is, of course,
you have to look at me.
No closing your eyes
no looking around.
I have some work to do
but I'll be checking.
If I look at you
I better see your eyes looking back at me.
If catch you not looking at me
you'll be punished."

"Woof!"

"Good girl.
Suck your way to freedom.
If you work hard,
I'll give you some scratches."
