I’m curious if anyone actually likes when they receive lewd messages from total strangers? Specifically curious about if women who are attracted to men enjoy them, but anyone can chime in.

I have a theory that most men who send these kinds of vulgar messages only want a reaction but I’m curious if I’m in the minority of people who don’t appreciate it.

For any men who start out conversations with a lewd message, how often does that actually lead to a hookup online or irl? And why is that your first choice when approaching someone?

I just delete those messages so it’s not a problem but I’m curious about everyone’s opinions on the matter :3

I like receiving them especially if the person is far away and real life meet up seems less likely. I have only sent them twice and each time on this site. I am new and thought the person might like it based off profile because they each said they want someone to take control among other stuff. One blocked me and one ignored me so I realized that is probably not a good way to flirt here.

I don't send lewd messages. I send messages that are thoughtful and considerate of what is in their profile description. I would estimate that approximately 20 - 25 % will get responses. The rest are completely ignored. I don't know if I would get more responses from lewd messages, but at the same time, I know what type of relationship I am seeking, which starts with good conversation.

Everyone is here for different reasons, and we can't all be perfect matches.

True. Good point. I’m tired today and the thoughts and words are not 100%. I definitely generally generalized. It true for me and likely at least one other man in the world. Obviously not for all. Thanks for making the effort to point it out without cussing me out.

It's not for me, if I were to get a lewd message from a stranger then I may reply but more out of curiosity to learn what made them do that rather than because I "liked" it. I mean, it's not exactly a basis for making a connection is it?

 

I'm not pretending I wouldn't have weaker moments or that I might not enjoy them with somebody I don't know well, but I definitely don't want that as a first message.

 

As a side-note, can I give a huge thank you for your note making it clear your question is open to all? I've noticed quite the trend of topics being posted recently (invariably by men) stating that only replies from women are welcome. I don't feel that should be allowed in a general forum and am sure most are only doing it to try to gather wank fodder; I was even considering creating a forum topic about the phenomenon.
