Well i’m a radically open and brutally honest person so most first dates end with the mutual understanding that “yeah this isn’t happening”
But of the rest i’d guess about 1-2/5 ask to meet again, 1-2/5 straight up refuse the “effort for effort” part and the rest ghost me

It depends.. is it a first date, or something down the line? First dates should always have a plan.. after all who wants to turn up dressed to the nines, for a coffee date (I do know some folks that are always dressed up, even to nip to the shops) but having a small understanding of what the night entails reduces any confusion.

They are testing you to see if you can satisfy them in bed because if you can’t satisfy somebody in bed, why would they allow you in their minds it does not mean that they are not worth dating. Plans at min. Should be established. Like if he wants to make a full plan great. But there is also nothing wrong with saying "I'd love to meet up. What are you into for dates?" Like at least then I feel included in the conversation, my likes are being considered, and I can still report to friends where I'll be for safety reasons if I've never met them before
