Salacious players club and salacious legacy(only 1 of 6 books is out right now)

I don’t know where this rates in reality or what have you since I’m new to exploring, but before I thought I would pursue a more flavored lifestyle. I enjoy the club Shadowlands series, and then when my wife and I were trying to understand a little bit more, I found the ethical slut a good read

I just finished mercy!

Well if you ever saw the movie Fashionistas. That was the one that solidified my living a BDSM lifestyle

The story of "O" really expanded my kinky side.

Pink Kink podcast is great. Princess Rara is lots of fun!

If comics are alright with you then

„Sunstone“ is a fairly decent depiction of what BDSM can look like

„Love and leashes/sensual M“ deals a bit with the isolation of being „abnormal“ in a „normal“ society

And „nana to kaoru“ has quite the educational focus, i even learned how to prepare rope from the hardware store for use in BDSM and how care intensive leather can be from this manga series

Early Angela Carter novels and short stories. She doesn’t hold back.

personally I found take down challenge porn to be pretty close to my fantasy

The Unethical Slut and Sex and God are a great start

Sunstone is great if you're looking for fiction. It's a graphic novel. Along those lines, if you're into political intrigue, the Kushiel's Dart series by Jacqueline Carey has an interesting low fantasy world where kink is front and center.

For non-fiction, Different Loving by Gloria and William Brame et al, Sacred Kink by Kit Harrington, Tongue Tied by Stella Harris, Playing Well with Others by Lee Harrison, and Existential Kink by Carolyn Elliot.

I also have done a lot of reading on the psychology and philosophy of intimacy, and that's definitely shaped how I view things as well.

Do you have some recommendations on the psychology and philosophy??

The Psychology of Intimacy by Karen Prager, the Deep Psychology of BDSM and Kink by Douglas Thomas, body-to-body intimacy by Stella Resnick, Talk Dirty to Me by Sally Tisdale, Conditions of Love by John Armstrong, On the Evolution of Intimacy by Charles Johnston, the Dance of Intimacy by Harriet Lerner.

I also have an interest in the emotional and physiological benefits of kink and understanding it's impact on the body and mind, so if you're interested in that route, it's mostly looking at self help books like What My Bones Know by Stephanie Foo and the Body Keeps the Score and applying it to kink

The erotic realm podcast on Spotify. Scorceress is highly educated and experienced, providing a platform for real members of the community to openly discuss their lived experience in kink. Also, the Ask Dr Kink podcast
