Tonight we are celebrating the sites Theme of the Month which is Kinky Carnival celebrating several things under one umbrella including Carnival/Festivals and the freedom of the conformity of clothes and the liberties it allows us.

1.  There are many Carnivals and Festivals held throughout the world both Kinky and Vanilla, what are some of the more well-known events out there?

2. What do we think of when we think of Carnivals whether it be kink or vanilla? Do we think of massive street parties or do we think of specialised events? What would you expect to see at these types of festivities?

  • Parades
  • Costumes
  • Food
  • Atmosphere
  • Music
  • Displays of wares
  • Displays of Kink play

3.  If you had the opportunity to go to one these lavish spectaculars, which one would it be?

4.  Would you immerse yourself in the celebrations and join in wearing costumes and clothes that embrace the event itself?

5.  Does the history and significance around the variety of costumes worn at these events give you a bigger appreciation for the clothes you wear today? What do you think some of these costumes represent?

6.  Do you feel the sexualised costumes and atmospheres at some of these Carnivals and or Festivals evoke and encourage exploration in the freedom of what we wear now? and is it a direct result that many kink type outfits are now more acceptable in today’s society?

7.  In general, how do you express yourself through your own clothing?

8.  As a Dom or a sub,  do you have a certain type of outfit you like wear? Or do you save your outfits purely for Kink themed events?

9. When it comes to your own attendance at a Kink event, do you go all out in your attire? And do you feel you now have the freedom to do so?

11.  Do you have any tips for dressing for Carnivals/Festivals and or Kink events?

  • Depending on event comfortable shoes

12.  Do you feel the older generation has come to terms with how far freedom of clothing has come or do you feel there are still many barriers to break down or  is the sexual clothing revolution still something of a discovery of unknown potential?

13.  Do you have a favourite kink outfit that you can’t go without?

14.  Would you encourage others to be at one with how they dress and to feel free in wearing what they so desire?

15.  Any final thoughts?

Thank you to all who attended the Quarantine Munch and to our wonderful host @Chiana
