Always lost and never found, maybe I just need to get out of town.

Where do I find her, the light of my life, probably not on an app where we just swipe.

Screens flicker cold in the midnight glow, Endless profiles in a digital show.

But hearts don’t beat through a filtered frame, They spark in the rain, they call out a name.

So I lace up my boots, leave the phone on the shelf, Step into the streets, chase life for myself.

Through the drizzle of Portland, where the weird ones roam free, Past coffee shops steaming and old-growth trees.

Maybe at Mt. Tabor when the trail winds high, Sunset ***ting the city, she catches my eye.

Or laughing at trivia in a dimly lit bar, Where the jukebox plays low and the questions go far.

Forget the algorithms, the likes and the ghosts, I want eye-to-eye moments, the kind that mean most.

At a farmers market stall or a brewery’s warm hum, Where strangers turn friends, and connections become.

No perfect bio, no curated shot, Just a soul in the open, giving what she’s got.

So I’ll keep wandering, open-hearted, unbound, Till the lost feels like home, and the light is finally found.

The apps can keep swiping, I’ll take the long way around, Cause the best love’s discovered when you’re feet are on the ground.
