Empty profiles are a red flag

And what about women with empty profiles?

Women with empty profiles are also bad. Since I am not looking at women's profiles for the most part, I was not seeing that trend. However, it is not surprising that there are men on this post not addressing my original point and saying "bUt WhAt aBoUt tHe wOmEn?"

Damn, I didn't mean to write a book but...

This is definitely an issue on both sides, and you are correct that it's a red flag, a fairly large one at that. If a profile is just the minimum that is your sign to avoid. It's a quick profile made to lure and deceive as like you said there is nothing presented to hold them to.

These profiles are usually just to snag your attention and hopefully get you to move to a different platform so they can sell you their wares, their holes, get you to give them *** (looking at you sugar baby, wanting generous men, findom c%s), or get your personal info for further contact and deception.

Also as the above noted, they don't respond right away. The minimum profile is up for weeks, possible months gathering likes and contacts, before all of the sudden contacting all of the unsuspecting suitors with their primary message asking what I described above. Obviously only a few will pursue these while the majority will not respond and report, but that isn't immediate and the profile is left to continue gathering contacts....

...which these disingenuous scavengers count on. We all have seen that the mods on Fet are ***fully slow to removing these profiles so they get their hooks in that few before and maybe a few after the report before their profile gets taken down, and that's all they need. Then they create a new profile, rinse and repeat.

Clearly there are measures Fet could take to stop this from happening but it's not in their interest as like most social media, content and interaction drives decisions, even if it is fake and deceptive. This helps them gain traction in app store downloads, drives advertising, and helps to engage users to spend for premium purchases. You're more likely to spend *** if the platform has "millions" of downloads, "millions" of users, and you get engaged frequently, even if most of those users and fake.

I'm the end it's in your best interest to avoid these profiles like the huge red flag they are and pay attention to the other profiles you choose to interact with. Report anything in conflict with the T&C users agree to when creating an account, especially people advertising prostitution, using "code" words like P2P, Generous, *** emojis in bio, stating that their time is ***, Findom... I mean the list is expensive and never ending. other than that there's not really much more you can do. Stay vigilant my kinky friends!

The lack of limits always worries me. I can get past a lacking description. But saying “no limits” isn’t acceptable for a kink discussion. But keeping “no limits” as an option is an incredibly useful tool for self selecting out of my pool of interest.

Also the “what about women” post are so funny. Like yeah I get it women are guilty of this too but they aren’t the subject at the moment. Share space people. Or don’t. Keep self selecting out of everyone’s way. Haha

About what? About the nonexistent information in your profile? All I'm really asking for is that people list things and stand for something or give people a little preview about who you are so they know what to ask about.

Youre literally saying its a red flag and that their "immature".

The way men be vague for the purpose of altering their personality for each match is icky, sucks females have to filter through that sh*t.
From my side, its an abundance of females giving absolutely nothing and expecting their match to come in with the perfect line for them.
And having a mate match with the same woman as me. And using the exact same 'crude DTF' intro. He got invited over and I got told I was a creep.

Online dating is hard enough, between the validation matching ghosts, numbers game swipers, fake accounts and the fact that, real, direct honesty makes most people uncomfortable. Regardless of gender. You just don't know how legit a person's online persona is without actually meeting up.

I've been active for the last 5 months. And I've had 0 people agree to meet, and 2 matches become online friends. There isnt a solid way of telling if the woman i match with wants a hello! hello how are you?
Dtf? Cheesey pick up line, or ***!
People say they want honesty, and claim to be open mindedUI proceed to be the person they are claiming to despise

Its not easy for most to grow confidence and build self esteem in the online dating world

I try to be a bit vague because you never know if that profile without a profile pic could be a coworker. I wish I wasn't afraid to let my freak flag fly, but I feel like this area can be a bit... Regressive... With their ideals. I'm risking myself enough as it is, I don't want to give people MORE ammunition lol

If it is a coworker.... They are also risking and would probably be appreciative of having someone nearby to chat with.

Unless you work somewhere that specifically restricts where you can be social.

Well, I've just joined recently and simply didn't have enough time to set up my profile properly.

Some of the prompts are about things I never thought about before and I want to think about what I want to say about myself and why I am here.

Baaically still figuring out what I am looking for here which is why I am not trying to reach out to people, wouldn't make sense.

And in all honestly what you have on your profile is a great start. I and a few others are more so getting at profiles that have the minimum, or close to it so they can post up their profile, leaving it there basically as a literal thirst trap.

Blocked for replying to this post. 🤣🤣some people save you a headache

You weren't blocked at all, however all comments in the Kink Academy need approval before they can be posted.  Need to learn patience.

A while ago I went to a profile to tell a person that they might want to be a little nicer in the comments because it shows up on their wall.

I learned that day, you can turn off your profile wall. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Nothing like transparency.

Indeed. If someone has no limits, what's to stop them from harming you? The profile should be an extension of the person, if there's nothing there, then there's nothing to pursue.

Most ppl are here for kinks and for desires not here to find a good healthy relationship go to a different site if thats what ur looking for smh women cant be serious lookin for there forever here not saying it cant happen or its not there but be realistic

Eh, I’ve seen women in groups who do nothing but pick apart every single thing in a man’s profile looking for a red flag. There are also statistics about dating apps that show women “swipe right” on 5% of men’s profiles whereas men do it on 61% of women’s profiles. Statistically speaking, men are less likely to find someone who will even engage in a conversation with them, so it’s somewhat understandable why they don’t always put a ton of effort into their profiles.

And like someone mentioned, we’re all adults who are capable of making an effort to ask questions. Not fair to assume everyone will, but let’s be honest. We all have preferences when it comes to what we find physically attractive, and that will influence how interested we are in wanting to know more about someone.

Choosing to see a blank profile as a turn off is really nothing more than a personal preference.

I couldn’t agree more to be honest.

If you sign up to a site, with expectations of interactions, then the very least you should do, is complete your profile as fully as possible.

I guess some guys just love wanking off in their bedrooms to the thought of ‘naughty’ ladies….. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Incidentally, the same goes for Female profiles that aren’t completed.

Usually the hook is that they try to lure you off to another site …. (You know the one, I’m sure..) if you show any kind of interest.

The “DM me to learn more…” line is a cracker…

As is the “Never on here. Find me on I**ta” one.

Usually then its a (failed) attempt at ‘Findom’

Trouble is, it takes a lot of time and trouble to vet every potential new member, and in any case, the membership process needs to be positive rather than pessimistic in its outlook, otherwise no one would sign up ….🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm convinced 90% of profiles here are scammers. For example I bought a new ride and posted a pic of it, there were several people that liked this but none made comments. 2 weeks later when I totaled my new ride I posted pics of the devastation and got even more likes than before but again no comments. I've all but given up on this site.

If you read the actual headline of your post it says "Empty profiles are a red flag" does it not? If you only wanted replies curtailed to men's profiles, maybe you should have stated as such in the title, which i know is what brought me here. Also, without a doubt what you are experiencing does happen on both sides, and I would think seeing reactions from both would help in seeing more of the the issues related to your post, including some that you may not have been exposed to. knowledge is power, ignorance is bliss.

girls just are physically unable to ask questions

I don’t ask a lot of questions because I feel like most things you want to know come up naturally in conversations and it happens as we become more comfortable sharing personal information about ourselves to a complete stranger 🥴😂

Like, I don’t need to know what someone does for work, where they live, or what their favorite color is before I can even determine if they’re capable of having an engaging conversation 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mr mod, might you have the power to remove two of my three duplicate posts above?

But this is not in person, so detailed profiles should be the norm. Since no one can read your body language, or assess your tone of voice, you should at least provide some amount of text.

Agreed. If someone doesn't take the time to fill out the profile, I just pass.
