Go to their socials first.

that is good in the sense of

(a) it's easier to get vetted for a membership and ticket

(b) it's a good way to meet others who will be going

there were complaints in the past of people who've bought memberships and tickets and then being turned away on the door - this is less likely to happen if you've made an effort via their socials

The thumb rule is:
- follow the dress-code
- do not interfere in scenes/play events without being invited or being part of
- look look is ok but touch touch is a no no without explicit allowed
- do have fun
- avoid taking pictures inside, unless you have the OK (most of the time, it is not allowed)
- try to talk with people
- if possible, try to go with someone, it makes a bit easier
- if you go in latex or any kind of gear that is hot, do take breaks and drink lots of water - your well-being is more important than anything else

Yes, this event is designed for newbies so I hope I will be able to blend in with the rest of people.
