Probably a dumb question... but what is NEW+LIVE in the browse? Can we go live on here?

No. It means the person, may be outside of there Dating parameters, so it’s displaying where they are at “live”

“New” means they are a new member. I believe that banner disappears after 2 weeks. And “Live” means the location you are seeing is their actual location at that time allowing others to know you general location at that moment. You can control this on your profile edit page.

It's a rather annoying feature on the app that changes the location on your profile. Example. If you lived in London (and were looking for locals) but you happen to open the app whilst you were travelling elsewhere, eg Birmingham, the app would set your profile location to Birmingham - potentially putting off any Londoners who looked at your profile.

Even if you had manually set your 2nd location as Birmingham on your profile, it would then set your primary location as Birmingham as well, which makes no sense.

Not sure why they then highlight the profile as "LIVE" as that makes no sense either.

Feeld has a similar “Live” feature which allows people to seek others while traveling to different area. Unfortunately this means you don’t have any idea whether or not a member is local to that area or just passing through.

You can’t watch members on Live. You can live chat but that’s as sophisticated as it gets here.
