Massive influx of fake accounts

I guess message filters are there for exactly that reason, to stop people outside of their preferred criteria contacting them

I hate how all these new profiles of people joining, like 90% or more have message filters so you can't even talk to them. So annoying

No, I think this is a GOOD thing - and you should also.  If they've set up message filters they're more likely to be real people (so nowt to do with the "fake account" thing) but have set boundaries you fall outside of.   This tells you they're real, but not interested, so saves you a message...

Ive run into a couple recently, they almost always wanto to go off app to another service like WhatsApp or ***am.
I ask to video chat on here first. If they make up excuses ... c ya bye
In 5 months I’ve had 2 that would stay… everyone else wants to leave…
When I’m convinced the account is fraudulent I submit report… when this website verifies fraud they remove the account AND notify me.
Please report every FinDom, Scammer, Spammer (multiple accounts) fake people. Report them all and let’s get them out of here!!

Reporting scammers, spammers and advertisers is my favourite hobby on the app. Its very rare now to get contacted by one, which is great but also slightly disappointing. Need a new source of dopamine.

Let’s create a sport of scam hunting. Like whackamole but in an app 😉 reduce the scammer numbers drastically

I certainly think there is a simple check list we could put together so that it makes it easier for the majority of users to identify them instantly.

Don't you find it funny that the admin don't want to do anything about it and they keep pushing forward young OF girls forward, especially from the U.S. and I live in Australia.
Check list. No photo, no id check, not from your area (in fact not within 10000 klms of me), not in my age group. No bdsm test, and they just want to go to another site to talk ***. That's about it for me. I get one good pick about every 2 months and then they have filters on who can.message them. That leaves me with I think 3 potential women the whole time I've been on here.

Love this idea. Top of my list is asking for financial contributions or gifts.

We need to get Kitboga in here for about a week or two, really frustrate and annoy all these scammers. Waste their time and make it inconvenient for them to fuck around on here. Hopefully that'll make them go somewhere else. :P

Report all that you come across!

Yes evidently we are going back to that. I've seen quite a few doing that. I've just been blocking. But I guess according to mod up there I'll start reporting

Absolutely - lets get rid of them all!

why so many Asian girls in UK with alphanumeric names Like Tina123 all scammers all looking for friends. Keep an eye out for them and report them if you spot them.

you do, however, need proof they're fake/scammer

having an alphanumeric user name isn't really enough proof - as your user name would attest to ;)

It's the site that's now setting default message filters on new accounts, so you're not only blocked from contacting most scammers, but most legit profiles too. Not so good after all.

grammar!
Staring to see the text in photos a bunch too reported them, lots of links and other garbage on photos but I don't get how they are getting approved. I had water marks in mine to protect my pics and they got denied and removed. Can an admin clarify please.

Photos go through multiple stages of approval, AI does one pass and users do a second level.

Users should be rejecting those photos as they don't follow the image rules.

As it is, they are easy to spot by humans and so your reporting and what happens catching them internally means that most of those Snapchat photo scammers don't last more than 24 hours on the site before we nuke them.

What's also true is that it's a constant battle of wack-a-mole!

I once added a photo of myself in front of a small airplane from an air show. There was absolutely no one else in the photo and no markings on the plane. A month or so after the photo was approved, I got an alert that my photo was removed because it violated a rule against photos with kids. Again, I was the only person in the photo. I don’t understand what that was all about.

Oh yeah, they add a filter to new accounts so that fuckboys cannot message them, you're right.  You need to be a paid member to message new accounts.  It's deliberately there as a paid feature to stop newbies being overwhelmed by fuckboys.

Have no idea what you're referring to.

I'm referring to the age based filters that are automatically added to female accounts that prevent messages from anyone 10+ years different from them. I cant even message a 40yo. Its pathetic.
