is it me just me or does anyone else think that 1500 point for premium and 3000 for vip is a bit overpriced? especially as both memberships with points only last 2 weeks.

Thank you for your feedback, the fetish.com community team will discuss if we should lower the amount of required points and/or increase the duration of a free upgrade. We enable users to get a free upgrade to reward those users being more loyal and active in our online community, and we want those users to feel happy with what they get.

Also remember you get  3 month membership for free after uploading a profile pic when you register, which is pretty awesome, huh?

And last but not least, the price of our premium and vip memberships are among the lowest compared to similar apps and dating websites, we're doing our best to make Fetish.com accessible!

that all understandable but during the maths i worked out that there are 30 50s in 1500 so for a 14 days membership thats 50 days of collecting point :)

Not trying to criticize the pricing structure, but I have to agree with Sarcpup. When considering the price breakdown, I do become quite confused.

First, as previously pointed out, there are two possible spending tiers: VIP and Premium. VIP works out to be 3000 points for 14 days, which even at the most active 30 points a day, which will take you 100 days to save up. Not very reasonable to save points for this, which is okay; VIP tier requires *** spending and this makes sense.

When we look at Premium, however, there is a slight flaw in logic. If we consider VIP the spending tier, Premium should serve as a perk for those that are active enough to save the points for it. Of course, when I break it down, I don't see that:

Premium membership = 1500 points for two weeks = 750 points a week

Activity points = 30 points a day possible = 210 maximum points a week

As we see, it takes over three weeks of maximum contribution to earn enough points for just one week of Premium, which honestly discourages me from trying to be active enough to accomplish this. This also creates a huge gap between Premium membership cycles for nonspenders, with only two weeks Premium for every (almost) three months of activity; that's two and a half months with no Premium each successful cycle. This also seems not very reasonable, prompting me to spend *** for the overlap in time at a ratio of 5:1.

Of course, this is based on the assumption that Premium membership is a perk for active members. If the marketing strategy is that both VIP and Premium should cost everyone some *** regardless on how much they contribute, than the current setup is solid.

As a correction to my own post (no edit option available): it would be two weeks Premium for every (almost) TWO months of activity (one and a half months overlap for every successful cycle for nonspenders, or 3:1 spending ratio). My bad! It's still a bit unreasonable under the assumption Premium membership as a perk for active members.
