Is Dominatrix more mental or physical?

I think a combination of mental and physical is good. Some Doms that I talk to can get me going but I haven't explored my hard limits yet. So what's it like??? I am super curious especially about Female Doms.

It seems about what gets you going and what they can do for you.   Rather than what you can do for them.  

Perhaps Dominatrix *is* the right word, you pay them - they experiment with you.

in general though - Dommes have their own styles and it's about finding someone right for you - and that you are also right for 

it is kinda ok if your interests centre around play/gratification/etc but it still has to compliment them - what do they get out of it

there is otherwise no correct balance other than what works for the relationship
