1st time going to swingers meet up, want advice

As the title says, I'm going with a friend to a large swingers meet up soon, and neither of us has any experience with anything like that. The ad said usually about 150-250 show up to this thing, it's a public meet up and everyone is invited.

I just want to know what usually goes on at these things and what my friend and I may be able to expect when we get there.

This is all super interesting and I'm glad I'm going to get the experience of attending something like this. Any advice for a couple of noobies is appreciated!

This sounds like a munch. You're meeting someplace public like a bar or restaurant? I've never been to one specifically for swingers but I'm assuming they are similar to bdsm ones.

It's a social event in public. Treat it like a party where you don't know anyone. Dress appropriately for the venue. Be respectful of everyone. Remember this is a social event, not a hook up, don't assume everyone there will want to have sex with you or you'll be the creepy person. Go there hoping to make some friends. If you find someone you vibe with even better but don't *** it.

Kinksters have munches. Swingers have Meet & Greets. But exactly what DarkAngel-001 stated. This is simply a group of people looking to talk to others. Making new acquaintances. I treat each one like an office party.You see some familiar faces.. meet new people. Chat it up.. if you're lucky, you might leave with new contacts to converse with later. Or set up a hot date.

Gang Bangs, Swinger Clubs, Hotel Take Overs, they are all the same in regards to respect. Look good, mingle, strike up conversation. Sometimes things lead to consenting fun stuff, other times it's just wilder eye candy at the bar. The fun stuff you see there, are people who already had the respectful consenting chit chats. But it all starts with, "hi, wow, you look great, I'm so in so and this is...."

Do not be afraid to talk introduced yourself me and my ex were swingers for a long time and we had a group that would pretty well pick out the newcomers and then one of us from that group would go over and talk to them. A lot of people had the wrong impression of what was supposed to happen at a swingers club or a meet and greet just be yourself. Mustly
