Locktober!!

So this is my first ever locktober and I just sent a check in pic to my dom. She was so happy and excited to see me locked up for her. Day 1 is coming to a close and I was wondering who else is participating and for those that have done it and completed it before what are some helpful tips for a beginner?

The first week or so is always the most frustrating to longer term locks up at least for me.

Temptation will come (so to speak) so make sure the keys are out of the way. Mine are frozen currently - easy enough to get them if I need them using a kettle!
Set a cleaning schedule beforehand and stick to it
Use a timer for cleaning releases

For me I'm usually doing much more anal while I am locked.

Wear a medium or large metal butt plug for a couple of hours, coated in Vaseline/petroleum jelly and see what that does whilst your cage is on 😉
Might get a bit messy (in a nice way) so have some tissues to hand.

Yep - plug is the way forward, I usually save it for a bit later into the process though. If you feeling the strain (😏) then a well placed vibrator, rolled gently over the plug can really enhance it

I have a new tip! There’s a brand of men’s underwear called Just Wears. They have active boxer briefs which have a pouch to support things separately. For anyone who feels they need to wear a strap to hold the cage up, particularly when running, these briefs are great for supporting a cage and holding it nicely in place! What a fantastic solution for people who like to wear them day to day, or are doing Locktober!
