TheZenCommander Posted October 2, 2025 Good gawd so easy. A dowel rod and 3 eye hooks from a hardware store. Done.
TravellingDom71 Posted October 2, 2025 Round aluminium wardrobe rails cut to length, squeeze the ends up in a bench vice until flat, drill a hole each end to take a snap hook, file or grind down the end to remove sharp edges burrs.
Ca**** Posted October 2, 2025 Guys I literally forgot where I was , I read the post and thought hmm a home bar šø , been thinking about building one too. What's everyone doing š¤. God im our of it this morning, fucking hell.
Error99 Posted October 2, 2025 Grab an old car spring. Get it red hot, stretch it out straight ish. Cut to required length, drill and tap add eye loops. There you have a spreader bar with presence

Error99 Posted October 2, 2025 For the purposes of a spreader bar, no. You could hammer some flat and make some nice shackles while you are there.
Sa**** Posted October 2, 2025 Large diameter wooden dowel rod, strong round pvc piping then just bolt in eye hole bolts and good to go.
Deviant_Ric Posted October 2, 2025 Broom handle and bondage tape (duct tape will work but make a hell of a mess š¤£)
TheZenCommander Posted October 2, 2025 Who doesn't love a tough sub? OK you can use just 2 eye hooks and rein*** the dowel by putting it into a metal pipe before adding the hooks on the end.
TheZenCommander Posted October 2, 2025 Also helps if it's a thicker rod. I generally use the most girthy one they have available. 1.5" dia or more.

People often move and writhe around quite a lot in a spreader barā¦. Most are extendable with a nut and bolt or knurled screw arrangement of some sort to adjust. Iāve often thought that some kind of friction based adjustment and lock would be good. Similar to that found on a home āpull upā bar.

Doesnāt leave a sticky residue⦠you just need safety shears or scissors to release in an emergency.
Robbiesub Posted October 2, 2025 Best place for DIY bondage is B&Q. Chains padlocks clasps rope cable ties gaffer tape. And if they have a pet department you can even get a collar and lead

That would certainly work but there is also the psychology of black metal. The sound of the metal, its weight. The experience is in the brain.

I used to be able to acquire expired date padded wound dressings when I was teaching First Aid courses a few years back⦠they were quite good as improvised restraints, because the padding would provide a little āgiveā and the cotton bandage which was attached to it held pretty much anything secure. I first encountered these during military service ⦠and used them to good effect during my early days in Kink. Again though, itās crucial to have safety shears or scissors at hand. Improvisation can be fun, especially if you are being spontaneous and if you donāt have the right thing to hand, but safety should always be the first consideration, in my humble opinion.
sp**** Posted October 2, 2025 I am happy to "forge" a steel spreader bar for anyone that wants one. Prices and styles are negotiable.
