Kinky Holiday Traditions and Alternatives?

Greetings Kinksters! 

It's the time of year when those of us who live our lives with alternate flair and grounding can find ourselves a bit on the outside of the Christo-Corporate Holiday Season. I would love for anyone out there to share how their experience in kink has influenced their choices in how they celebrate the turning of the seasons, specifically the traditional Christmas/Yule season. 

For me, I love to celebrate Yule (the celebration of the Winter Solstice) rather than Christmas and my personal kink-inspired twist is to have a celebration in honor of the Roman holiday of Saturnalia where my Submissive has charge for the day and I am at her bidding. I would love to expand it to a larger party/feast with Kink friends and the community where is a bit of safe debauchery where those who practice power exchange relationships get at least one day a year to boss around their partners - in good fun and with complete consent of course - all while celebrating the feast of Sol Invictus (the unconquered Sun).
