I have to also agree with Bunnielot, as a Dom it is also our responsibility to either know, or find out what type of mood my Brat is in. It All depends on my Babygirl she is half if not more of the reason why I am her daddy Dom.

I think approaching a little type you should be respectful but also confident in your role as a Caregiver/Daddy or Mommy. For me a simple hello little and introducing yourself with who you are and your role, one can open up the door to a conversation and asking how is their day is going basically, being careful not to cross any lines until they allow it. Make sure you are making them comfortable to communicate with you. Show interest, asked about who they are and their interests. For me I like to have attention, and in my opinion, I believe most littles, middles, ***/lolitas do too. Try to make the conversation interesting and about them getting that attention. The rest should come naturally.
