Types of subs

It strikes me that there are at least two types of sub. The first has wants and desires, expresses them and submits to the dom to have them fulfilled. The second has no, or is unable to express, desires and wants, leaving the dom to take their pleasure. Are there other types of subs? Which are you and does that mean that there are at least two types of doms?

I think you are right just there are many reasons behind someone being a sub that makes a person a sub. I'm not sure where I fit. I know how to express my desires but they change with my Dom. Well I guess that is wrong, my desires are to fulfill my doms desires. I would brat out more when I sensed my Dom was stressing and needed to flog someone to relieve that stress.

I feel that I may fall mostly into the first category with the caveat that I don't follow instructions blindly. And that has gotten me into trouble sometimes, but I can not submit just because someone else wants me to. There has to be mutual respect in the dynamic

I think the worst for me was someone lying to a grown adult about what’s they want and like. Then there’s the “lying sub” haha. The one whom says and says and says. But in reality is scared to fulfill them in person.

Dollard - exactly. I thought I knew someone, that we were on the same page and out of no where - everything switched - everything. Next time I see something like this, I won't get upset, I will simply say - thanks for your time and good luck.

I don’t think I’d categorize these subs as types of subs. These are more aligned with types of people in general. Some people require another person to pull things out of them. I’m not so sure they do this with malice nor deliberately.
