Im not trans myself but one of my best friends is undergoing transition. Basically rule of thumb is dont be an asshole and treat anyone as you'd like to be treated. Tbh it doesnt really matter what gender you define yourself as, as long as youre a decent human being. All that matters is to feel good with yourself and your identity.

One of the things I personally could have benefited from early on was someone to just talk things through with. I'm so lucky to have people around me who are going through the same things, but when I was a ***ager it was difficult trying to vocalise things with my cis friends. I'm glad the trans community is more open and vocal these days, and I hope to be the help someone else might need in the future ☺️

Omg I found my people, as a pre-op/hrt transfemme involve me into this convo pleassee. Due to circumstance I cant start any gender affirming care besides like waxing my body and doing my hair and I hate it 😭

I am trans male and will say that I have been on hrt for probably a total of 7 or 8 months. I got a total hysterectomy (including both ovaries and tubes) a few days ago and it’s definitely been a roller coaster of emotions and feelings. Very much ups and downs with it but very much worth it. I will say I feel like it definitely helped I started taking the testosterone before hand.

If you’re struggling with insurance covering it though (if you have insurance that is) hint hint wink wink make sure to tell your dr if you have heavy ***ful periods especially if it causes problems with your daily life. Because if you have trouble with your periods they can try methods of treatment such as hrt to help with lighter periods or no periods and if that doesn’t help they can schedule a hysterectomy to elevate all *** and intense bleeding issues.
