Sciatica and bdsm play

Recommended Posts

Is it wise to engage in bdsm play while suffering sciatica.

No, it’s not. Otherwise, it could lead to a herniated disc, since sciatic *** is often caused by the intervertebral discs.

Respectfully I wouldn’t not get off subject I have a uncle he has two slipped discs
He was a great freaking carpenter. Now he’s got a Cain the doctors are telling him he might be in a wheelchair within 2 years
He’s had the symptoms you’re talking about but he’s always been that guy . Big and tough. Just won’t get it with the doctors.

I broke my L2 and L3 a few years ago and deal with sciatica. I haven’t had any major issues with it and BDSM personally. Although I am still young. I’d say it depends on your specific symptoms, *** levels and how hard you’re going. There always ways to work around issues like unwanted discomfort, though.

I had sciatica and ended up rupturing a disk in my back.. going paralyzed from the waist down, had emergency surgery and it took a year for me to learn to walk again and another 6 months to be able to drive. Don’t mess with back ***.

Yes! Believe it or not. It helps loosen the saciata

Pretty sure that's something to ask your doctor about, not a bunch of random people online

Honestly it depends on the type of play performed and where.

There's some around the affected area that should be approached with extreme caution, if at all.

If done in different areas not affected may a tual be a *** management by controlled *** releasing the magic rush that helps to relieve the offending uncontrolled ***.

Im not a doctor or a scientist but know my personal experiences and I am deeply into self education in my own risks vs benefits of any play I engage in.

Search your answers on multiple sources and include a professional if there is any aspect that may potentially cause permanent damage. Sciatic nerve damage is one of them.

Yes, if you are both afloat while playing

I’d say seriously consider asking a doctor they do have the Hyppa law for a reason
They don’t judge

Whether it is wise or unwise can only be known by you, as only you know your *** and limitations. Safty is a factor though. From my personal experience with sciatica and engaging in BDSM, I'd be cautious with impact play, hold off on positions that require a lot of flexibility, and try not to hold one position for too long. I'd also suggest physical therapy, it helped me get to be *** free!

Ive suffered from sciatica on both sides since highschool, 100% it's worth it to stay at least a bit active and stretch daily, it will counter act the sciatica. There's nothing worse that going at it then the nerve *** hits, causes you to lock up mid thrust, and by the time you work it out and feel better, you've gone soft and the moment is ruined and the *** takes you out of headspace. Especially if you're into rope play or something similar where you can't move and the nerve *** flares up in your entire leg that's immobilizes and in agony, just stretch daily ,it's worth it just to stay limber as you get older lol

This is good stuff to know. I'm dealing with osteoarthritis in my right hip & have sciatica due that. I'm planning on getting a hip replacement soon, but I had to loose a lot of weight to get to a point to where that could happen. I was 420 lbs. when my wife died in 2012 & I've gotten down to 233 lbs. now. I'd still like to get down to 225 lbs. My doctor had me go in for a Panniculectomy Abdominac Skin Resection Procedure last year & due to a staph infection I spent pretty much a year healing from it. I just got the green light from my plastic surgeon last month & I've got a appointment with my Orthopaedic doctor later this month to see where we go from here on getting the hip replacement done. I was told upfront by my *** management doctor that sciatica can be reversed & if anyone tells me otherwise don't believe them, & everyone that I've talked to that have been through the procedure say that as well. I just have to go through the rehab to get better.

That's a good question. I would imagine the same rules apply that apply to any contact sport

Just like any other activity- stretch and look after yourself, know your limits.

I guess that would depend on the kink and the level of activity.

Depends on if you like the ***. Lol
Sciatic stretches before helps.

App store rules for the Kink Academy.

You can get sciatica relief medication from the chemist. I use a product called diclofenac it helps with inflammation and relieves the symptoms

I do a heat treatment b4 and after I play and stretch. Helps a lot. Mainly just listen to your body and stop if you need to
