Limiting communication is not control

Being monosyllabic and unforthcoming does not put you in control, it makes talking to you frustrating.

Being confusing and ambiguous does not increase your control, it makes talking to you confusing and destabilising.

Being silent does not regain you control, it’s unkind and it causes anxiety.

Quickest way to make me walk the other way. If someone can't or won't communicate, then I feel that there isn't much of a basis for anything else. I know some topics are difficult to talk about (I struggle sometimes) but communication is a necessary element of a successful relationship/dynamic.

Without communication it does not work. Silence in a sense speaks volumes. Red Flag alert!
