Edits?

Is there any way to edit my posts? I cannot find any and I REALLY hate it when I post and then spot a mistake

Hi there, 

I believe there is a gap of time after posting when you can edit (it's only short) but after that you can't. Sorry for the frustration, but it's to make sure no sneaky links are added once a post is approved etc.

I think edits after the time gap also stop dirty edits - i.e. change the context of what you said to make yourself look better or others look foolish.

Sadly a common trick on a.n.other site.
