You're All Fake!

Everyone here is fake.

Fet never fails to disappoint does it?

Of course this statement was made by yet another profile with essentially nothing in it, no bio, no comments in the forum, no status updates, no friends and a number of photo's set to private which basically means... dick pics.
Having made the comment claiming no one's real, any and all responses to comments were essentially, continuing on the theme of, no one's real, everyone's fake, no one wants to meet. I mean, if all you do is send inappropriate messages and make inappropriate comments on pictures then I guess you may be on to something.

Outside of that though, Fet is often more real than the world outside our front door.
It's full of people opening up the deepest parts of themselves and sharing it with others.
It's overflowing with people willing to reach out and support each other through all of lifes events.
It's a safe haven to express your deepest ***s, hurts, desires and dreams. Only the most lowly will try to attack you for sharing here. The rest will absorb your story and give many parts of themselves to help you heal or grow. Whichever the case may be.
It's a place of education with a variety of resources and people with experience to guide you in your own journey.
It's an online community that strives to be kind, show love and hold each other together in in/tangible ways.
It's a place of chaos and order. It's a place of solidarity and thoughtfulness.

If you come here with the belief that we are easy you'd be right. But not in the way you think.
We are easy to talk to.
We are easy to get to know.
We are easy to laugh with, to share with, to mourn with, to cry with and to grow with.
We are not easy to victimise. We are not easy to manipulate. We are not easy to gain power or control over. And we are seriously not easy to fool even if it happens now and again.

Are we easy to sleep with? (Because that's what your post/comment is truly about) Yeah, kinda. But only if you have shown yourself to be real. Only if you have shown yourself to be safe. Only if you have shown yourself to be worthy.
Kink is something that most here wishes they had more of in their life.
We are sluts, whores, degradees and degraders. We are brats, subs, Doms, Sadists and more
We are not desperate. We are not looking for you. We are generally not lacking.
We are not here to be perused like items on the shelf in the supermarket for you to pick out and take home.
We are people that are often more self aware than the rest of society. We have values we hold higher than vanilla people tend to.
If you're here to get laid, it's no different than the real world. You have to connect and build that here. Once you do, yeah we are kinda easy but good luck with getting us to be easy for you if you aren't real.

I think you'll find it was "meant" as an alternative lifestyle site full stop - and from there is down to individual users how they choose to use it. Yes it has dating elements to it and tools to help users achieve that if they want to, but it's not the site's sole raison d'etre.

Personally I see it as a community of likeminded people here to share their thoughts, their interests etc - and whilst I'm open to meeting others as an offshoot of my use of the site, it's not my primary purpose for being here.

Im not fake, but i have to disagree with the easy part of this. Ive been here 5 years and found this place to be very hard work, even trying to make friends here. My profile at the begining was full of about me and what i was looking for. I have loads of pictures "no dick pics" .but all this and it achieves nothing, so i took it all down. So this doesent apply to everyone here. I find this place quite soul destroying at times. Im not looking for anything anymore because it never goes anywhere. There are a couple people here that i can call friends and i have all the time in the world for them. But i find too many will judge you before they even try to get to know you. Sorry but thats my take on this place

I would say that it's neither more difficult nor easier to meet with people here than on any other online platform. Maybe a little bit harder if you are a Dom looking for a sub who needs to be able to trust that you aren't going to be an asshole when things get real. That being said, I totally agree that there are many open-minded, interesting, witty and generally lovable folks to be found in this community, at least in my experience. I didn't yet encounter one fake profile that wasn't immediately banned by the mods, but I had a number of very enjoyable discussions about all kind of topics. I actually think it's a great online chat platform even if you are pure vanilla with no interest in kinky stuff.

I have found in one year on the site, almost no one takes time to get to know someone. A lot is just smoked screen, image and no substance. Very little soul on view.

I've met two fellow Doms on here, who attended my events. I've met two submissives, one of which I've played with a number of times. Compared with another well-known site it's not an especially high success rate but it certainly belies the 'Everyone's fake' narrative. Of course I've put in a lot of effort, and thus seem to have found the cure to fakeness!

Some of the comments here make me think that some peoples chocolate advent calendars have been laced with some good stuff 🤣
