The Manchester Leathermen organisation celebrates the joy of leather - in its many varied but always hot incarnations. Whatever type of leather you're into - whether you're a beginner or aficionado - this long-established community group promises a warm welcome.
Formed in 2015, Manchester Leathermen has gone on to become a powerhouse in the leather community. Indeed, its reach extends way beyond Manchester. It's the only British club to have hosted the European Convention of Motorcycle Clubs conference.
Leather has a long and noble tradition within the BDSM community - and Manchester Leathermen holds this dear. Its regular monthly socials, geld on the first Saturday of each month, offer the perfect opportunity for leather lovers to meet and connect in a safe and empowering environment. A calendar of upcoming events is available online.
Friendship and mutual support are at the core of the group's work. Recognising that not everyone owns leather gear (beginners, for example), Manchester Leathermen doesn't insist upon a dress code for its Saturday socials. Newbies won't be judged on their lack of attire.
The group's standout yearly event is its Leather Weekend. This is held each autumn, and full details are available on the organisation's website.
The team behind Manchester Leathermen are seasoned kinksters. President, Joe King, for example, has held the titles of Mr. Leather UK and Mr. Leather Europe. The group is also made up of other officers, including a treasurer, secretary, events officer, and membership officer.
Membership of Manchester Leathermen is open to anyone 18 years plus who identifies as male. The cost is £20 per year, and your membership pack, which you'll receive within a week of signing up, outlines the many benefits. Joining is easy: it takes just one click on the Manchester Leathermen website.
Manchester Leathermen understands that each person's journey into the wonderful world of leather is unique. But it offers the perfect place to start your fetish expedition.
Whatever your leather kinks, Manchester Leathermen invites you into an intoxicating world of black Muir caps, chaps, harnesses, leather jeans, biker jackets, trusty pairs of Wescos, tight gloves, and devastatingly powerful boots.
