Founded back in 1971, TES NYC, which was formerly known as The Eulenspiegel Society, is the first BDSM organisation founded in the United States. This volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation has an illustrious history promoting the interests of all those leading leading a BDSM lifestyle.
TES NYC was founded by Pat Bond and Fran Nowve initially as an informal support group for masochists. It began by meeting in members' homes, and in August 1917 opened its membership up to sadists.
The group played a crucial role in sexual revolution during the 1970s and held its first BDSM convention in 1996. This was the first kink convention of its kind, setting a bold template for other fetish organisations, particularly those in the leather community.
The TES NYC website is an invaluable resource for all kinksters, and includes an online version of its Prometheus magazine, which has now been running for decades.
Additionally, the website includes a TES digital archives section, where visitors can access general information, kink guides, and the TES library.
TES NYC members get discount at all participating stores and clubs on the BDSM scene - and these businesses are listed on the website. New TES NYC membership costs between $45 to $700, and there are various options to choose from.
