I regularly attend up to week long foam fighting camping events(also known as larping). So if your the type to like random trips to different states and participating in new and novel activitys this might be right up your alley...
In a few days there is a camping event which i'm going to be attending/staffing which would be the perfect opportunity for some adventurous individual who shares an interest in gaming, roleplay, martial arts, fantasy cosplay and or festivals to either day trip or spend the weekend camping in order to meet up in a very public environment and get to know one another and experience something that i'm very passionate about.(NSA of course) You never know you may just enjoy yourself enough to want to join this incredibly inclusive lgbtq+ positive and welcoming community which i am a part of regardless of weather or not you and I hit it off or not. The event is called "Trials of the Pacific Mane III" and will be taking place in Onalaska Wa. between the 14th and 17th this week.(as i am on staff at this event i have to be on site Wednesday morning through the end of the event) If your interested in camping there are indoor accommodations available on a first come first served basis starting when the gates open on the 14th(these are bunk beds inside cabins equipped with running water/full bathrooms and power) or plenty of open space for tent camping. Or you can join me at my camp for the day or weekend as ill have space to accommodate one or more guests. Entrance to the event does cost 65$ for the entire length including tent camping or add 20$ to that and secure a indoor bunk to yourself for the length of the event and only have to bring bedding and garb. Don't worry about weather you have garb to fit the theme there is a hospitality tent on site which will have amongst other amenities garb available for any first timers that want to jump right into the experience and lack their own.
