62 days of diamo – Week 4 – There's an App for that

Just a little note to the moderators so they don’t remove this post, I will be detailing some other Apps in this post that are used for virtual Keyholding and for playmates in Dom / Sub relationships. These are apps which I have used in my dynamics and I am explaining how me and my partner used them. I have no affiliation with these applications and am just a user sharing my experiences. I am receiving no payment for anything which looks like advertisement here. Always best to keep the Mods happy

 

Since I started these posts, I have had a few people come to me and ask about chastity, some about cages and others about keyholding so I thought I would cover some of tools and apps that are out there to manage dynamics long distance, because now days there is always an APP for that.

 

Chaster – Not really an APP but a browser run system

If you search for a chastity App on google, Chaster will be the best result. I was actually made aware of this app by one of my playmates in a Dom&Sub group on the lovense App, during my trials just before the start of my experiment. He regularly posted a link to his Chaster lock to allow people to add or remove time, so I chatted to him about it and when I met my keyholder we tried it out. But WAIT don’t scroll down to the next APP yet if you're not into Chasitity, because I also found out that the app is great for short term locks if you're into self or long distance bondage. So all you budding Doms and Subs read on, and you might find something useful to you.

 

How the locking works – Each cage or belt normally has two keys. It is recommended that one is kept as an emergency key which is available should you be away from your lock box or if your keyholder is in another time zone. My emergency key is encased in a block of clear silicone along with a note saying when it was encased and who I am locked for. I did this so that I could always carry the key with me, the silicone keeps it from getting damaged, but makes it hard to redo if I have to use it, so I know to only use it for emergencies. My Goddess is also glad that I have a means of escape if she is asleep or working should I get into difficulty.

The other main usable key is kept in a key box fixed to my wardrobe with a combination code on it. I spin the code without looking and then via the app take a photo of the code and upload it. The photo isn't stored on the phone or locally only on the app so I can't cheat and look back through my photos. Once I close the box with my key inside and spin the combination the only way I can be released is via the app, emergency key or if my keyholder tells me the code as they can see the combination photo at any time. The other option the system has is for generating a code to put into a digital safe with the assumption that you don't remember the code.

 

Verification Photos – Now the system above isn't infallible and can be easily cheated, so they have created a two-step verification system so to speak. At regular intervals, I am required to upload a photo of myself in my cage, with my intact emergency key and a piece of paper with a unique 6-digit code generated for each photo. That last part stops you cheating and using the same photo over and over again. You can setup your lock to request 1 or several of these photos to be taken per day and penalise the wearer if they don’t meet the quota, additionally the keyholder can request a verification photo at any time and punish you if you are not quick enough, meaning it would be difficult to remain uncaged without getting caught. It's also a way for my Goddess to play with me, requesting verification photos whilst I'm out or at work making for some awkward in cubical photo shoots of my caged clitty. Me and my Goddess also use the system to record tasks that I complete so that she can see I'm doing them properly. All the photos are stored in the App and you can look back at each submission, you can set the privacy to just you and the Keyholder or if your into *** you can set it to ‘visible to everyone’, allowing anyone to look at your last photo when they look at your profile and current lock. If your keyholder is too busy to keep on checking your photos, then they can activate verification allowing the community to vote on your photo to check you are still caged. If enough people reject your photo, for if you did it incorrectly or wrote down the number wrong then you can set the system to automatically punish the wearer for a failed verification. As a member of the community, I can verify others photos and during my time on chaster have seen many different types of cages and belts which has been very interesting.

 

Extensions – These add features and customisability to your lock allowing you to increase or decrease the difficulty. For me we added the dice gamble making me roll a virtual dice against a bot every few hours, if I win time is removed, if I lose time, is added to your lock, you can then configure how many times the wearer has to spin the wheel and how much time is added or removed. The other extension which I used a lot is ‘the wheel of fortune’ where you can customise each slice of the wheel to do something different like add or remove time, pillory you or freeze the  lock, meaning your timer won't count down until the lock is unfrozen again. They are basically fun little games to make the wearer play to keep them interactive with the lock and give them the chance to remove time, but more likely add it.

 

Tasks – Technically an extension like above but is worth a section on its own. You can create a list of 10 tasks for your wearer to carry out whilst they are locked up. Luckily for longer locks there is the option to edit this list so that you can keep the list fresh with new ideas. I have to complete a minimum 5 tasks a day otherwise I am penalised for not engaging enough. My tasks have been designed to train me orally and anally and add to my feminisation. But there are also a few in there specifically designed to please my Goddess, who can assign any task she wishes from the list and is more than happy to press the button to give her a big O. 😊 for me each task has a points value assigned to it and I have a points goal to be achieved before I can be released from my lock regardless of whether my timer has ran out or not.

 

Penalties – Each extension and activity can have a penalty assigned to it should you not complete it in time or not do enough of them before your time runs out. The penalties can be anything from adding time to your lock, which is fully customisable from minutes to days, so make sure to keep your keyholder happy. The penalty can also freeze your lock making it so your timer doesn’t count down until your lock is unfrozen again. This can be quiet worrying as you never know how much time is going to be added to your lock and I have had it where it once added 6 hours before it was unfrozen. The system can also be designed to pillory you, whereby you are advertised in a public space in the app and shamed for your naughtiness, other users can then vote on your shame adding time to your lock. This can be a very disheartening experience and I have had days added to my lock just by one pillory, so it is a very effective deterrent to make sure I get all my daily tasks done. For me, most of my penalties revolved around completing my tasks and roling dice and spinning the wheel of fortune. I have tried to keep on top of everything but missed a couple of days here and there resulting in much added time, so I try each day to please my Goddess and hope for some time removed for good behaviour 

 

The community – There is a great community in Chaster, they have their own discord where they help each other and share ideas on basically how to fuck each other over. The in-App community is also good, with an activity area where users are displayed if they have been punished / pilloried where you can vote on their locks and add to their punishment and where wearers post their task lists so the community can vote as to what task you carry out next. There is also an explore section where some keyholders create locks that others might enjoy and invite them to join, acting as keyholders for groups of subs. I have met a few interesting people and have had a good time there.

 

Chaster and Long-distance bondage – Ok so I said you can use this for bondage earlier and you can, all you need is a set of combination padlocks similar to what you may put on a suitcase. Set up a short term lock in the app with a specific release time that cant be altered, you can then add tasks which need to be performed before your release if you want or just use it as a straight timer. Take your combination locks and set a random combination without looking at them. Using the App take a picture of the locks and then apply them and spin the combination. You can then keep the lock to yourself and perform whatever tasks you set yourself before you are released or offer the lock to your partner so that they can determine when they will release you. We often used this system on my lockable maid outfit and when Goddess wanted to bind me as I did chores.

 

Overall Chaster is a great app for chastity, with a large supporting community and some good features and controls for the keyholder and wearer dynamic but is flexible enough to be used for bondage where no Chastity in the dynamic exists.

 

Obedience –App store android

 

Obedience is a habit tracker app with a Dom / sub vibe. It’s designed to allow the submissive to work towards rewards and goals by completing daily weekly or monthly tasks for points whilst trying to avoid being punished for not completing tasks.

Where this app excels is in the planning stage of the dynamic, allowing to detail and record the subs, limits, Rules for the dynamic, ideas to be shared and an area for notes. This is incredibly useful for allowing you to keep track of your submissives development and add extra variance to regular tasks for instance using the note area to add specifics for that week’s tasks.

The app is split up into rewards, punishments, tasks and notes allowing you to semi-organise the submissive s habits.

 

Punishments – the simplest part of the app is punishments, where you basically put a title and description of what the punishment is. Once you have listed the punishments you can link them to the tasks / habits so that if it is not completed when required a punishment or two will automatically be assigned.

 

Habits / tasks – These are quite customisable, where you start with a title and description but then you can select how often the habit needs to be completed including selecting certain days of the week and how many times per day. With this flexibility you can make hourly, daily and weekly habits for your submissive to complete. You can then decide how many reward points they get for completing the habit and separately how many points are removed if they fail to complete the task in time as well as assigning a specific punishments. The other good thing about this app is that you can set custom reward messages and graphics when your sub completes the task, which is great for positive rein***ment of their progress. You can also set it, so the Dom gets a message notification each time their sub completes a task allowing the Dom to keep track on their subs progress closely. I use it for my sub to keep them horny and edged, having them edge and watch porn a certain number of times a day, as well as using it as a tool to keep them fit making them go to the gym to burn off their sexual energy.

 

Rewards – The app is very much a carrot and stick mechanism and not just all stick like chaster. Obedience allows you to set various rewards which the submissive can trade in for points, allowing them to go for easy rewards or save up for a bigger one depending on how you configure your rewards. The submissive gains points by completing habits and the Dom has the option to adjust the points total at random depending on their will. My submissive has the opportunity to buy an orgasm or if they are really good save their points for me to get them a new sex toy to play with

 

Additional features – one of the good features is that you can pause habits if your sub becomes unwell or other life events occur which a pause can be agreed upon with their dom. The can also be used with multiple submissives at the same time

 

If you are long distance or living together then the Obedience app can add a little something extra to the dynamic if your submissive needs training or is working towards a development goal, it becomes a useful tool for tracking that progress. I do feel it is missing a few things though and I hope they continue to develop it

 

But now for this week’s fun
