Collar Recommendations

Does anyone have collar recommendations for long-term wear, ideally fuzzy and cute, allowing for customizations like bows would be ideal. Thick and secure enough that it works well during play. But not so thick or bulky that it causes your neck to hold a certain position while sleeping or is otherwise uncomfortable when worn for 8+ hours.

Etsy is a great source of collars, be they cute, leather, or metal. Given your description, maybe search for "DDLG collar" or "DD/lg collar"... that should give you at least a few options that meet those criteria.


Something else you may consider... there is also a way of separating "Play Collar" from "Day Collar"... within a dynamic, a collar is whatever you make its meaning to be. I've seen delicate bracelets, anklets, necklaces, often with some sort of charm or O ring, but not necessarily, that symbolize ownership or a dynamic... and heavy leather play collars, lockable or not, that are used when scening.

so that's something else to consider, too!

one other option: permanent jewelry. I've seen kiosks at my local mall for that! typical a necklace or bracelet that has a link that is permanently fastened so the only way to get it off is to cut it. possible, but brings a definitely deeper symbolism to the need to remove it.

It depends on what your willing to spend.. store bought and massive produced can be nice, but if tour after something special, seek out someone who does commissions and will make something custom fit..
You will be surprised how many people who have the skill to make excellent quality items, even if its not normally in their wheel house.

If serious about longterm but versatile wear either leather, rubber or pvc strapping is the go. These tyoes can be locked and remain in place, anything else other than metal, will have a short lifespan.
