Keeping cool ;)

Corny I know, but what do you do to cool yourself in this weather (I am UK based and it is a bit hot at the mo!)

For me it is shorts, and a cotton t shirt and trying to take it easy.

Sleep wise either boxers and on top of the bedding or naked under a cotton sheet.....

Summer dress in my living room under my cooling fan. Stella on the side waiting for all this heat to sod off.

I have a bedroom in the basement specifically for summer so I can at least sleep comfortably. Lol I'm in the U.S. on the east coast. It's not too bad today though. It's 11:30 a.m. and only 75⁰ F at the moment.

Fan, air con unit, cold showers and drying naked afterwards.

A cool cider works for me!

Find moving air (fan, breeze, ac unit) - sit still. Have something cold to drink or eat.

Wine in the garden in the shade with some ice packs in my neck and legs!

Yeah - definitely open a few windows to get a bit of air flow.... I often find I then wake at 5 or 6 ish and have to get under the covers!

Nice cool shower (not too cold) then without completely drying myself with a towel, I sit naked in front of a fan. Feels so fresh

Honestly I bit the bullet and bought air con

Put ice cubes on my head under a hat and dance til the club closes

I have to get the jacuzzi set to a temp of 70° F and afterward dry off naked and keep a fan running in the room I live in. I am bas d in Louisiana, U.S.

Best, 🤠

Make sure your blinds are closed during the afternoon or when the sun is on your house/flat, as that is when it gets hottest inside. Once the sun isn’t directly on your room, open the blinds and let as much wind in as possible

If you can get the thick blinds that block as much of the sun, then thats even better. It won’t fully block the heat, but it will help slightly reduce it

It’s been getting hot there over the last few years maybe it’s time to bite the bullet and get some window ACs.

I usually just wear a short dress with some cotton underwear, personally. I keep a long cardigan next to my bed so if I’m cold when I get up I can just wrap it around me

Stay inside and turn on the AC. Or go and swim if you can lol.

Me normally have a cool aircon running about 17-21° degrees (Aus based)

I live in. The southern united states. Alabama to be precise. And right now it is 85 which was the humidity here it feels like about 98 100 and we're not even into summer yet. By the middle of June beginning of July it'll stay near a hundred on the 90s middle of July through until September. I tell everybody I live on the devil's front porch because it's a temperature don't get you the humidity will and the only reason it's 85° now is because it's about to rain here. You get used to it after a while I wear black heavy denim jeans work boots all day everyday and usually a shirt with an undershirt. And I do okay break a good sweat now again. But like I see it this way I have friends from up North during the winter they laugh at me for how bundled up I am and then during the summer I'll laugh at them for wearing his little clothes as they can and still dying in the heat so I guess it's just what you're used to. We hit the Creeks the rivers the Lakes the pools and sometimes we even get in the sprinklers with the kids so beat the heat however you got to brother!!!

Cold shower especially before bed, agree with advice about blinds and curtains shut during the day and open at night. Lake near buy? Pool? Head under cold water helps when I’m not working. Humidity makes it worse and 100 plus for more than a couple days get AC. I have a room standing AC one after growing up with central air and window units. The room AC does ok. Basement is great as suggested but a 100 plus for says reminds me of growing up around the DC area with humidity and 90-100 degrees although it beats negative 10 here in the winter
