You lean in close enough that your attention feels heavier than your body ever could. “Say it again,” you reply, calm and unbothered, which is infuriating because I want a reaction. I want proof that I still get under your skin even while you own every inch of the moment.

The blade glides just near enough to make my breath stutter. Never cutting. Never rushed. Just a reminder that you decide how close is close. I shiver on purpose. You notice. You always notice. “Still brave?” you ask. “Still bored,” I lie, twisting uselessly in the restraints just to hear the soft sound it pulls from you. Satisfaction. Possession.

The wax drips slow. One drop. Then nothing. You make me wait so long between each one that the anticipation turns feral. I count wrong again. You correct me again. It’s our ritual. My defiance. Your control tightening like a vice I keep leaning into.

You edge me there, right at the line where my thoughts start fraying, where my bratty grin turns unfocused. You deny me resolution just to watch me ache for it. Just to watch me soak in the attention, in the hunger of your gaze, in the certainty that I am the thing you are choosing not to finish yet. “That mouth,” you murmur. “Always writing checks your body can’t cash.” “Make me stop,” I whisper, knowing full well you won’t.

When you finally close in, it’s consuming in the quietest, darkest way. Not frantic. Not loud. Just complete. Your focus devours me piece by piece until there’s nothing left to resist with, nothing left to tease with, only the thick, overwhelming awareness of being wanted too much and on purpose. You don’t rush the end either. You let me drown in it. And when you finally pull back, I’m wrecked, soaked in your obsession, smiling like I’d do it all again just to hear you tell me I was never getting away.
