When I was a wee lad, my friend and I came up with a specific definition for what we thought qualified as a slur. At that point we said 10 new sexual partners a year was how you achieved and maintained your slut raining. Then we competed to see who could be the biggest slut.

That's always how I've used it. it's interesting because it's one of those words that immediately ceases to mean what the speaker intended as soon as it's loosed from their lips. While the receiver inevitably condemns it regardless, or maybe in spite of their attempt to commandeer and repurpose it. it's a slippery sucker to be sure, so for me it's all about her texture (and I leave the pronoun "her" for the reader to define).

Lots of good comments here. The enjoyment of sex, or sexual acts is key to a slut persona. I think the term "slut" is something that anyone is capable of attaining. In a derogatory way it's a person who hasn't quite grasped the fact that they are one and is offended of it: or a term the general public use who are prudes and don't know what they are talking about. Everyone has that "inner slut" in them. In a Dom/sub dynamic I use the phrase "c**k slut" for my trainee knowing thats what they ultimately are, and what I wish to draw out from their inner self. In the modern sense I think any of the GGG bu....kke pornstars are the ultimate definition of a slut (and I adore and honor their achievement). Not everyone has the capacity or ability to maintain that rank or reach that goal.

A slut  in my opinion is person ( man / female ) who has accepted their sexuality , the darkness , the rush for pleasure , who are not afraid to ask for it  who knows what they feel and want to feel , who have embraced the sexual freedom and do not comforts with norms . I do not think that is related to the quantities of people they sleep with . Being free to enjoy your sexual desires and fantasies without caring being judges or not is amazing  and I am sure that in the kinky world “slut” is a pet name … not definition .
