An indulgence.
Distracts from self-pity.
Provides anxiety a border,
a frame of reference.
Our brain’s first dying wish.
Lust
A euphoric mud we lather,
for a secret harmony with parts of our being that otherwise make us shameful.
Domination
and control
Submission
and surrender
Every ‘kink’ a playful ploy for control over untamed scars,
Every session,
a sacred step of surrender toward the souls will.
Is the beauty we see in another’s insecurity purely superficial?
A means of reassurance?
Would you sacrifice dignity for pleasure?
or are you unashamed and free?
