This year it's the intention to enjoy the sunset from the grounds of Knaresborough Castle, where the views across the River Nidd out west are pretty special. Sunset is sue to be 21.42 so we'll assemble earlier in order to grab a portion of fish 'n' chips from Drakes Fisheries nearby. Public transport to and from Knaresborough is pretty good by bus or train (note there may be disruption on the Leeds-Harrogate line due to engineering work at weekends), and there's ample parking outside the castle. At least one car will be attending from Harrogate with space potentially available.
If there's sufficient interest then we may enjoy a stroll along Waterside earlier in the evening, down by the river.
