Recommended Posts

Many words have different meanings to different people . One such word is " CONSENT "

In your own words, what does  the word "CONSENT mean to you ?

Do you think there are any "UNEXPLAINED GREY AREAS"  = "MYTHS"

i.e. in reference to  "BDSM FETISH CONCEPT "   ?

Do share you view points in reference to the above content.

Consent would be a reflection on how trusting the partner felt by the way that you listened and understood their desires and needs. To make a sub feel constantly comfortable in your presence and having had opportunities to express opinions, and that these opinions are noted and agreed upon, then the sub would hopefully feel able to consent within these parameters.

Your comment is so on point - beautifully expressed. l agree with you 100% .

Communication is  two - ways and never one sided at all - no brick ways to use

this as a metaphor here.

I think sometimes some people forget this. It is never one sided at all.

" COMMUNICATION IS  ABOUT CLARITY - EXPRESSING EACH OTHERS DESIRES AND NEEDS,

RESPECTING EACH OTHER BOUNDARIES BASED ON MUTUAL TRUST "

At the heart of consent is the idea that every person has a right to personal sovereignty – the right to not be acted upon by someone else in a sexual manner unless they give that person clear permission. It is the responsibility of the person initiating the sexual activity to get this permission.

Consent is when someone agrees, gives permission, or says "yes" to sexual activity with other persons. Consent is always freely given and all people in a sexual situation must feel that they are able to say "yes" or "no" or stop the sexual activity at any point.
