Rope thickness

Just wondering what people's preferred thickness of rope is from a veiwpoint of the sub.

Really thick rope doesn't tend to cinch up really hard, and looks more intimidating... For sure it's secure and doesn't bite if it's not a juke type. Unless it's silk of course then the snuggness is all up to the skill of the Master.

8mm. 6mm is too thin for my liking despite it being most common. 8mm gives good bights and spreads the *** across a wider area, leading to more comfort and less risk of nerves pinching.

I use 10mm hemp rope which once work necomes soft to the skin and right size for tying other up with. If used often don't forget to wash the rope or could cause skin problems
