Description

Not a hookup room. Not a checklist of kinks. This is the space where Daddies and boys talk about what's actually happening beneath the dynamic.

This is where we explore what it means to step into these roles — not as performance, but as identity. Through personal stories, honest conversations, and the kind of truth that only lands when someone else says it first.

When most people hear "BDSM," their minds immediately jump to a Master and slave scenario. And while that’s a generalization, there’s a lot of truth to it. For someone who spends their day carrying immense responsibility, the idea of surrendering total control to a Master is absolute nirvana.

But I don't sit in a high-level corporate boardroom making massive executive decisions all day, so my dynamic looks a bit different. Is there a place for an exchange of control that is rooted in something more emotional?

There is. That’s where a Daddy comes in.

Total obedience is a beautiful thing, but power without emotional presence can sometimes just turn into an ego stroke. If the idea of being owned brings you more peace than being categorically controlled, a Daddy is likely more your s***d. Make no mistake: a Daddy is dominant. He is directive, and he calls the shots. But he brings an intertwined level of compassion and nurturing to the relationship. In this dynamic, a boy isn’t silenced—he’s guided.

For me personally, I am the kind of Daddy who wants to own your body, your headspace, and your soul. But I’ve always been clear with any inquiring boy: I don’t chase. I let the genuine attraction find its way between us. You have to demonstrate the desire to serve, and to do it with pride. You need to have enough self-worth to know your value, but the vulnerability and humility to take direction and own it with passion. Make no mistake, you will be fed a full presence of your Daddy. When I look into your eye I want to know I am inside you…actually being a living, breathing presence in the *** that flows through your veins.

It’s about embracing that a Daddy holds the power, but he also holds the safe space around you both—in the bedroom and out.

The journey to finding your footing as a Daddy looks different for everyone. Some guys dive in headfirst. Some aren’t sure where to start. I was definitely the latter. Looking back, the Daddy was always in there, but stepping into it felt distant—even intimidating.

A lot of that came from my upbringing. I had a safe, proper, and relatively uneventful childhood. I’m grateful for it, but in that safe space, the golden rules were simple: be polite, don’t take more than you give, and above all, never be selfish.

For a long time, I tried to play it safe. I strived to be that standard gay couple on the block with the white picket fence. But while those relationships followed a repetitive, ultimately failing pattern, my deeper desires never wavered. The boyfriends I had saw it, but they didn't understand the dynamic—and didn't want to. Meanwhile, the "Daddy" greeting had become a constant among my bar friends and friends I play with.

I finally started to embrace the role, but a stubborn part of me was still holding back. I desperately wanted a boy of my own, but those early voices echoed loudly in my head. I’m being selfish. I’m asking for too much. I felt guilty for wanting something that seemed so one-sided. After all, half my life and multiple boyfriends had rein***d that idea.

I couldn't have been more wrong.

It took a few special boys to shatter that mindset. After some incredible play sessions, during the quiet reality of aftercare, one explained that there are boys who live to serve. With an almost desperate look on his face, he expressed the desire to serve in the same way and with the same passion I needed to be the recipient. It didn’t sink in immediately, but I heard it again, and again, until my perspective finally shifted. I was ready to step into my world.

Then came one boy in particular who just got me. The passion in the bedroom was incredible, but it also became my ultimate test. When my old fight-or-flight survival mode kicked in and I hesitated, letting those deep-rooted conflicts show, he didn’t miss a beat. He gave me a reality check—almost a Cher "snap out of it" moment, minus the slap. He explained that a boy's service is his expression of love. He craved belonging to a Daddy just as much as I wanted to be served.

Since that moment, I’ve felt complete in this role. It doesn’t mean those old voices never whisper in the back of my mind. But now, they are silenced the second I text him, hear his voice, or see his face.

Being a Daddy means so much more to me now. I respect the role on the same level that I respect my boy for everything he is and gives me. The word “craving” has taken on an entirely new meaning.

And those old voices? They go quiet the second I hear his.

As a Daddy, there comes a day of clarity with your boy that changes the entire dynamic. When you first step into the role, it’s easy to feel the heavy expectation to just know it all. You let stereotypes—and the glossy perfection of your favorite porn flick—convince you that you have to be an infallible ***.

I lived in that headspace for a while, and honestly, it kept me from truly opening up. My boy was beautifully committed to serving me, yet I was secretly avoiding any admission that I didn't have all the answers. I was so stuck in my own head about "playing the part" that I missed how perfectly tuned in he was.

Like a good boy, he was watching.

He noticed what I wanted, but more importantly, he noticed what I steered clear of. When my lack of experience in a certain area finally showed, he didn't pull away or judge. Instead, he lit up. He saw the blank space not as a failure on my part, but as an adventure for us to take together.

That changed me. I thought my inexperience was a liability, but it became the exact thing that brought us closer. Leading your boy is a massive part of this life. But sometimes, the most powerful way to lead is by simply being human with him.

Just be the Daddy you are—he will love you for it.

Daddy Dom or Mommy Dom is the term for a certain type of Dominant who enjoys taking on a caring and nurturing role. They mainly match up with girls/boys otherwise known as 'littles'. DDLG stands for Daddy Dom/Little Girl and is a term often used in the BDSM community. Daddy Dom and Mommy Dominants enjoy control, as all Dominants do. Their control can be in the form of written rules, choosing outfits as well as making lots of decisions for their littles. Daddy and Mommy Dominants are patient and caring, which is why they match up so well with the child-like littles. BDSM comes into the Daddy and Mommy’s relationships with their littles in different ways. They strike a balance between encouraging the little’s child-like joy and enthusiasm and showing them the control they crave for. This is why they carry both the name Daddy or Mommy and Dominant at the same time. Caring in a parental type roll and controlling as a Dominant. Daddy Doms and Mommy Doms are often instinctually good at aftercare because of their especially nurturing natures. This is essential when matching up with littles as they need lots of care and attention before, during and after a BDSM scene.
A baby Girl / baby Boy is often known by the gender neutral term, little. A little is a type of submissive who embraces a childlike state. This can manifest in many ways including curiosity, a love of play, carrying a soft toy and dressing in clothes associated with being young. They can also use items such as pacifiers and diapers, but these are optional. Not all littles see themselves as being that young. Littles are submissives who need a great deal of nurturing and care from the Dominant who looks after them. Their Dominants are usually known as Daddies and Mummies. Littles will engage in activities which are associated with childhood. These include colouring in colouring books, doodling, blowing bubbles, playing games like tag or snakes and ladders. On the face of things, it seems a little takes more looking after than other submissives. It may be that they expect and need more support, time and nurture but their submission runs deep. Little’s relationships to their Daddy Dom or Mommy Domme are very intense. There is a great dedication from the little to their Dominants. They have a lot of submission to give. Littles can be bratty especially if this is a way they can earn fun punishments that they want. Littles, like all submissives, crave control. They may want very precise rules and will go out of their way to push the boundaries and test their Dominants. Littles often enjoy mixing BDSM gear such as cuffs, ropes and collars with pretty lacy dresses or dungarees. The contrast of innocent and not so innocent makes them happy.
A submissive who enjoys being restrained is called a rope bunny. They don’t have to be restrained by rope. Chain can be used or spreader bars, items of clothing or handcuffs. A rope bunny enjoys the constriction of restraint. A rope bunny may really enjoy rope. The feel and the constriction as well as the artistic value of the ties. They may enjoy being suspended in rope too. There are all kinds of rope, with different sensations from soft to scratchy. A masochistic rope bunny will enjoy extra pain with their restraint and may like to mix restraints with impact play. Some rope bunnies are very into the artistic element of rope. Enjoying being part of shibari and kinbaku rope ties. This kind of bunny in particular will need a rigger to play with, as it takes time and practise to tie in these artistic ways. Other rope bunnies are more interested in the bondage element. Not really bothered about how they’re restrained, just that they are. Rope bunny is an all-encompassing term for a submissive who enjoys being controlled by restraint. This can be purely a kink thing, or it might be a sexual turn on too. Bondage play doesn’t have to be sexual, just like any other BDSM play it can be very satisfying on it’s own. As with any classification of submissive there are many different preferences a rope bunny could prefer. Some may be very much into the feel of cold chain, others may enjoy the ungiving nature of wooden stocks and pillories.
