Domestic and Dominant?

Recommended Posts

I am a Dominant-leaning switch and I have a question. Can I still be the more-Dominant partner if I am a homemaker (like a house wife)? I feel like such an arrangement is only possible in a heterosexual FemDom dynamic and I am not sure if it is something accepted among gay men.

That's the beauty of this lifestyle. You can make it anything you want it to be. The only guiding things within this lifestyle is what you and your partner decide.

Don't let others dictate what your lifestyle or dynamic is. If they don't like it they can move along. They aren't living your lifestyle or dynamic so shouldn't have any decisions on it.

Enjoy your journey.

All this!

My first Dom was my ex-husband. I hated not working and sitting at home all day. He didnt mind it. He stayed home cleaned, cooked, and raised three ***. At work I took on a very dominant role as a manager. When I got home I became the complete opposite. I was his submissive. It worked great for us. The wonderful thing about this lifestyle is you can mold it to work for you and your other. Its whatever works best for you and what you agree on.
I feel as though this view is possibly some internalised sexism, especially considering the comment about it only being possible if the woman is dominant but also the homemaker, this isn’t me trying to tell you off at all either haha, just something I noticed while reading it! (:
Domestic stuff isn't inherently submissive just because it's historically been assigned to women. It's simply a type of work.
