Using the same toys on different partners

Is there an expectation to buy new toys for new partners. I keep sending partners home with new supplies like Santa Clause, and it’s getting a bit expensive and preventing me from investing in some more expensive options (Sybian).

It seems prudent to just start assembling a collection I can reuse.

Obviously I would keep these toys clean, but I also fully understand any reservations new partners would have.

Do folks have any advice on how to calm any of those legitimate reservations. Is it cleaning the toys before hand or perhaps a case of some sort.

Intimate toys ought to be provided and owned by the one that has them inserted or whatever. Certainly there are plentiful ways to sterilise toys, whether chemicals, soap, UV or whatever, but some kinksters don't want to share. Fair enough but they ought to consider providing rather than expecting expensive presents. I've passed out ballgags often, but they're relatively cheap.

Remember that dildos and butt plags can have a condom used as barrier protection. While still an expense to yourself, it's markedly cheaper than a new toy altogether.

Agreed! This is a bit of a grey area.
And its a bit awkward to ask a new partner to bring their own toys. Especially if you dont know whats in the arsenal

When I was taught I was explicitly told to never use the same toys on others, more so the 1s that get inserted in lovely wonderful places if you know what I mean ..

For most shelling out hundreds if not thousands per partner is not feasible. I have had partners with “reused” expenses toys. Before we even started to play it was asked if I wanted to purchase my own toys or go through the cleaning process before use and cleaning process afterwards as well.
It gives a sense of understanding, ownership and safety.

Cleaning after each use is a really good idea. But also maybe cleaning in front of new partner would help ease any reservations they might have. A swinger couple I used to play with had a large collection and we would clean them together after use.

I have simple rule..

Penetrative toys are not reusable.
Either ask from partners to bring along there's if active with multiple, playdates and Poly

Restraints, suspension, bars, Impact are multi user.

I had invested when I was with my long term partner.
I feel the *** but safety demands that.

Boiling it and sanitization maybe suggested by personally I suggest being careful as you have been already

I let my subs pay for their stuff. It will be theirs to keep and can potentially be used with another dominant Person. First of all, sanitary reasons, secondly i'm Not Santa Claus nor do i have a goldmine, third of all: space. I'm Not willing to have a whole "Sex shop" in my Apartment, just in case someone likes this or that. Easy as that.

I personally would want to see them cleaned before and after use. Having had a bad experience from toys the guy had where I caught something you can imagine I became very reserved from someone coming near me with something that wasnt mine.

Maybe ask if the have toys they want to bring along to use too?

From someone who has a phobia of germs, I was actually still okay with my play partner using his toy collection. He made sure he always cleaned them before every meet and put them in separate plastic bags to keep them clean. We also used a condom on any toys that needed it.

Ask your partners to bring their own toys, they probably have their own anyway. I wouldn't go near a used toy 🙏

Clean your toys before hand. Anything that gets *** on it has to be sterlized if it's capable at worst but it should be a single user toy

I can’t speak for women on this matter, because I have a massive cock, I imagine it would come down to each individual partner. It is best to have the conversation before your partner ever leaves to meet you. Offer them the use of your toys with the disclosure that they have been used with other partners. If they are not comfortable with that, they are welcome to bring their own toys. You are under no obligation to provide toys to another person. It is all about communication, which is the foundation of kink anyways.

Personally, I feel like sharing toys is perfectly fine as long as you sterilize in between uses (which honestly you should be doing anyway). The only time I would not share toys if it's something porous that can't be sterilized, like leather or wood, and it gets any amount of *** on it. If that happens, that toy belongs to that person, no questions.
