Message filters don't work

I have changed my message filters so that only women, trans or couples can message me because I don't want to receive messages from men.  I changed this a while ago and it was great.  No more messages.....  but today I received a random message from a man and I've no idea how it got through the filter.  I am using the mobile website, not the app.
