I have various different things going on with my body that makes me wonder if I have a physical problem or a “normal” occurrence.

I think it’s likely I didn’t explain myself very well last night given some of the replies - which I’m grateful for incidentally.

I have been known to pass small amounts of urine (or feel like I’m going to) during intercourse/play and needed to stop. When this incident happened I recall telling the person I was passing urine uncontrollably but also came part way through. So I wondering how I differentiate between the two? And yes I get that it doesn’t hugely matter but it does matter to ME because if I’m passing urine uncontrollably then it has implications on my emotional/mental well-being (which I can’t/wont talk about publicly).

Okay, that makes more sense now. There are pelvic floor exercises you can do to help with this. Hopefully, whoever you've been with has handled this like a gentleman should and not made you feel ashamed. If you're really worried about it, go to the GP they can help with these things and possibly send you to physio, who will give you the exercises to strengthen things down there.

Alternatively, there are pelvic floor exercisers available from boots, l*vehoney (not sure if im allowed to say that company).

Most importantly, never feel ashamed about it!

So, as part of our before and aftercare, we made sure we both went and cleaned ourselves to prevent such things from happening and any other possibilities. Okay, you can't make sure your bladder is 100% empty, but it should be empty enough for her not to have pee'd during any session, so her sensation of peeing was most likely not pee, however squirting does contain some urine.
